Liked: Great setting and location, perfect for what we had planned Within easy reach of Hadrian’s Wall and Newcastle. Only an hour from Bambrough Castle We had a spacious fully serviced pitch which functioned perfectly Gordon the warden is an absolute star, friendly, welcoming, helpful and a mine of local knowledge Had a great meal at the White Swan in Ovingham
Disliked: The toilet block!!!!! It’s well past its sell by date (by about 50 years) Everything works and Gordon does his best to keep it clean, but it really is grotty

Liked: I was overwhelmed with the breathtaking views next to the river. The site was spotlessly clean even the toilets/ shower room. The white Swan with nice food is within walking distance. The warden / staff couldn't do enough for us so friendly and full of knowledge of the local area. I would recommend the high hermitage holiday park to everyone.
Disliked: I cant comment because I didn't have any dislikes
