  • Wild-style rural Hampshire site in the New Forest Park
  • A mile from Fordingbridge; Lyndhurst half an hour
  • Surrounded by woods and meadows and overlooking the Avon Valley
Hey, you – can you keep a secret? Harry's Secret Site is hidden away in the hamlet of Stuckton in the New Forest, on the western edge of the national park, next to the pretty village of Godshill and approximately a mile from the pleasant town of Fordingbridge. The pitches here are set on fields that are high up and south-facing, with views over the Avon Valley. The surrounding area is dotted with woodlands and meadows, with footpaths and bridleways all around – including routes that lead to The Three Lions, a popular local pub that's just a few minutes' stroll from base. The surrounding New Forest is full of wildlife, from semi-wild donkeys and ponies to all kinds of birds – waking up to their morning song is a glorious way to start the day. As well as officially designated footpaths and cycle tracks, the area around Godshill has plenty of quiet lanes you can explore. Back on site, facilities include toilets, showers and a communal covered canvas area with hay bale seating. In addition, the site's horse box has been converted into a coffee cart, so pick up hot drinks and breakfasts here. There will also be visiting food trucks in the evenings.
