Liked: The sun finally shone on an early May weekend. We arrived just before 7 pm Friday and greeted like friends, directed to a woodland spot for the van Dog and raised fire pit permitted, so Cooked bacon on the campfire and walked a happy dog and son through the woods It’s stayed dry so in the morning relit the fire for breakfast and then on our way 6 miles to Sandbanks Studland chai ferry And then home again X

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite (woodland)
Liked: Beautiful leafy site, tawny owls and deer audible in the evening. Very peaceful on weekdays and lots of autumn colour. Great access for the beaches and cycle hire onsite fantastic.
Disliked: Would have been great to have somewhere to charge devices for non-electric pitches and fridge space/freezer blocks to loan. Fee per day seemed a bit penny pinching when other sites offer this.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, we are pleased you enjoyed the site and the peaceful nature. we have charging lockers in our shop you can use, unfortunately we don't have any space for shared space for Ice blocks or fridges for guests so we provide a service that you can if you want to rent our ice blocks. every site has different things they can offer unfortunately this is something we currently cant offer! Thank you Burnbake Team.

Liked: Woodland feel of site Pretty, well kept site Great facilities Lovely snack bar & shop Ability to choose own pitch
Disliked: Almost too family friendly - sadly just a bit too noisy for us. It's not the site's fault and is entirely dependent on who else is there but screaming children, leaving litter and kicking balls against tents/vans wasn't great.
