Liked: The site is a very relaxing place to stay. Love hearing the occasional whistling of the old steam train pulling in and out of the station that is only a 10 minute walk from the site. You can also pass the time watching the chickens and geese on the campsite. There is also a The Lethbridge Arms pub Restaurant about a 25 minute walk away. There is also the Quantock Ale Brewery by the railway station. The owners are very nice and welcoming. Our 3rd visit to the site and we will certainly be back. Our friends who visited with us for the first time loved it too. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place.
Disliked: The only negative is, is the shower head is a little faulty. But this is fixable.

Liked: We had a lovely stay at Bishops Lydeard campsite. The site was very well maintained with spacious electric hookup pitches, clean toilets, shower, drinking water and rubbish bins. Karen was very welcoming and we had a chat about places of interest nearby. Plenty to do in the local area; local brewery with a pub which is open to the public, fantastic dog friendly pub/restaurant in the village called the Lethbridge Arms and from the village you can even catch the steam train to Minehead.

Liked: Quietness and position of site. Activity of poultry around us and the wooded border around site perimeter. Helpful owner.
Disliked: Site would definitely need more sanitary facilities when full.

Liked: Lovely quiet site which is located within very easy walking distance (5-7 minutes) of the village. It was good to hear from the owner that they have plans for a toilet block in the future. In the meantime the quirky single shower unit on site was great.
Disliked: No wifi - although many will see this as a real positive.

Liked: Proximity the West Somerset steam railway was ideal, just a short walk from the campsite. Owner was very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Porta loo's and shower. Only 1 shower for entire campsite. A bit too basic for me. We used our own on-board facilities.

Liked: Flat grass pitches, quiet location, good dog walking close to site, and short walk to steam railway museum. On site Cockerell wake up call in morning
Disliked: Did not use shower or porto loos on site. Quite a walk to village pub and shop but not as issue for us on this stay.
