FHU gravel travel trailer campsite (no awning)
Liked: Immaculate site with fabulous sea views. Spacious hardstanding pitches. Very easy to get to (literally just off main road) no narrow lanes to navigate if towing caravan. Great location for Conwy or Llandudno (15 minute drive). 5 minute walk to seafront (down road adjacent to site). Showers hot with plenty of room to change. Hairdryers available (no charge). Toilets clean. Staff friendly. Whilst beach very rocky and inaccessible, there is a great tarmac coastal path for walkers, bicycles, scooters. Good WiFi coverage (O2) so teen happy.
Disliked: Beach steep with huge rocks/boulders; sea completely inaccessible. Couldn't hear a lot of road noise from nearby A55, but site is just off main road (so may not be for everyone). Similarly train track in front of site busy, but did not run all through the night (or if they did, didn't keep us awake).

Liked: Very clean site , helpful friendly staff. Pitch was good for motorhome. It was quiet for saying lots of vans . If got bikes it’s brill as new cycle route round the coastal road definitely will return.
Disliked: It is behind a busy road you can hear the traffic a little and there is. Railway track but they seem to stop at 10.

FHU gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked: Most amazing site. With sea view from every pitch, absolutely stunning location, when I say sea view I don’t mean distant I mean in your face wow!!! Stunning sunsets over the ocean. There is a train line which is unobtrusive and it is just off the main A55 but that makes it very accessible to all areas of North Wales, we have already booked to come again, and on the same pitch as this time as it’s massive. All pitches are spacious, well kept campsite with good access to paths along the front.
Disliked: This site is almost perfect. If only there was a designated dog walking area it would be second to none. However there is the local sea path and grassy areas off site which helps.

Liked: Neat and clean site with great facilities. Good service and clear instructions. Great views and good weather
Disliked: The 'beach' is very rocky and the sea not accessible from behind the site. Very close to railway line and busy A55.
