Electric grass pitch
Liked: Lots of space between pitches, very helpful and friendly staff. Very clean and modern showers and toilets, again lots of space. Camp kitchen was also very well equipped and clean. Great location for local pub and very good Indian restaurant on your doorstep. Very quiet at night.
Disliked: Quite a way out for Rye, but we managed ok. Walk to pub is a bit tricky, road very busy and path a bit overgrown. No Wi-Fi at pitch.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked: The cleanliness of the showers and how helpful people were. We loved roasting marshmallows over the fire pits (you can hire these and kindling, etc - just not the marshmallows - which is fine!) (I can’t comment on the WiFi as we were there to camp and have quality time, not be engrossed in technology!)
Disliked: There wasn’t much to dislike at all - we only stayed one night so it wouldn’t be a fair review. The only thing I would say, we love big open spaces when camping - again personal preference and not something to judge the running of the site on!

Liked: Really lovely site, right next to a steam railway station and had a viewing platform for the trains. Clean tidy shower blocks, well maintained and in good condition. It has washing machine and dryer on site which is really handy, altho we didn’t use them this time. At night there isn’t much light pollution and we could see loads of stars, and you can hear what i think is frogs chattering away. Very friendly staff.

VIP electric gravel touring pitch
Liked: Great set up, with very clean facilities. Hot shower, with radio playing, washer dryer ans washing up area with grey waste and chemical waste. Alan the owner was very welcoming and helpful and even lent us an electric hookup connecter as we had the wrong type. Definitely would stay again.
