A aimé : The view was brilliant pitch was nice quiet loads off space for the kids to play owners are friendly

N'a pas aimé: The road coming into the site was atrocious potholes everywhere needs sorting it’s broken my under tray on my car caravan motor-mover was scraping on the bumps

A aimé : Was our second Saturday first being 3 year ago . Everything you need . Kids love the space . Nice walks. Peaceful and just what we all needed. We will be back again . Dan is friendly and welcoming Thank you Would be nice to have some hotwater in toilet ( didn't Want put as a dislike )

A aimé : Spacious Quiet and peaceful There is a forest that the kids can explore and was nice to walk around.

N'a pas aimé: There is a mile road to get to the camp site that is like a suspension test track. Some facilities weren’t working and no hot water except for the showers.

A aimé : Scenic location, peaceful setting. Roomy pitches. Dan (the host) was friendly and helpful.

N'a pas aimé: Shower/toilet block not the best, only one shower, the facilities were clean but feel they lacked privacy.

N'a pas aimé: Unkept camping area loads of holes the toilets and showers not clean and told they clean them at 11 which isnt the best time as people up at 8 Loud music til 1 people smoking weed and fumes from tent with log burner Very very dissapointed

We are sorry you seem to have had problems with your neighbours - we do wish you had given us a call as we would have come down straight away to investigate. We certainly do not tolerate such behaviour and have written rules about loud music and keeping the site peaceful. Of course, any illegal activities should be reported to the police. With regards to cleaning of showers and toilets, we normally find that our target time of 11 am for cleaning and again to check at 10 pm is the best option as most people have finished and the area is clear, but we will review this. It is difficult to be sure but the review below comes from the same period. These people seem to have had a very different experience which is more the norm for our site. It would seem that you have had a very unlucky stay and wish we could have done more to make things better for you.

A aimé : Nice quiet camp site great for children and they enjoyed the walk through the wooded area. Plenty of space for the kids to play with a ball.

A aimé : Loved every moment,why can’t more sites be as good. Lovely to see families enjoying the natural park and all that goes with it. It’s now on our favourite site list.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Many thanks for the review - we can't always guarantee the weather but we do seem to get more than our fair share of the good sort.

A aimé : The drive on the road towards Lupine Woods was absolutely terrible. Big potholes, big dips in road, not something you'd want to drive a motorhome over. Was thinking we might lose our water pipes. But the place was OK. Small toilets block on wheels with 1 shower. Not brilliantly clean. It was actually a dog training centre on the grounds. But it was quite at night. Definitely take in all the food and drink you'll need because you don't want to use the road again unless you're leaving.
