A aimé : Very out of the way of the busy town meaning it is peaceful & the views were lovely. Clean campsite & not noisy at all. Boxes of food/ milk and drinking water provided.
N'a pas aimé: The toilets got a little dirty towards the end of our stay but nothing major. & no showered but we obviously knew about that before we came so probably wouldn’t stay longer than 1 night.

A aimé : The field was flat, not too windy and pretty quiet. The location was really good and there was always toilet roll in the porta loos. Even though there were no showers (which I knew in advance), there’s a really nice stream right next to the campsite that you can take a dip in.
N'a pas aimé: The porta loos smelt pretty bad. It would have been nice to have some sort of sink to properly wash hands, rather than just hand sanitizer.

A aimé : Fabulous location, away from the usual hustle and bustle of this area of the Lakes. The honesty box tuck shop is a nice touch. Portaloos were kept clean. Friendly staff and even got to meet Freddie - the 16 year old Jack Russell :-D

A aimé : Managed to book very last minute, simple and cheap site. Free clean drinking water and portaloos were clean. Little honesty box for goodies like tea/coffee. Dog friendly and easy access to amazing hikes.

A aimé : Location is peaceful with stunning views. Less than 10 minutes from Coniston in car. Site had everything we needed including very clean toilets, clean drinking water and an honesty box set up which was well stocked (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, crisps, cereal etc). Loved being beside the stream listening to the water. If not a fan, there are plenty of pitches on the site where you can enjoy silence. We enjoyed it so much, we paid to stay an extra night. Highly recommend this site!
