Strawberry Fields Holiday Park

Ik was blij met: Gorgeous spacious site with clean facilities. Friendly host who met me with a warm welcome on arrival. Lots of space for dogs/kids. Flat level ground for pitching with lots of sunny or shady spots to choose from.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Not the best location but if you're prepared to drive everywhere then it's a nice place! (Had been given directions to the beach which entailed a walk through various fields but couldn't figure out how to get there).

Ik was blij met: The electric pitches were perfect. Plenty of room, a decent sized field for the kids to play, showers and toilets were really clean and warm. Washing up facilities are good. We had a great first stay for our first ever camping trip :) the chaos running the site are also really friendly and easy going.

Ik was blij met: Great friendly site. Pitch was fab everything to hand. Toilet block and showers clean and tidy. Staff very helpful 👍

Ik was niet zo blij met: If you want to get on the beach do so from the site. If not you cannot due to massive coastal erosion of the cliffs

Ik was blij met: We turned up quite late 8.30pm after calling the number on the office window we were immediately greeted by a lovely lady and guided to our pitch. Lovely clean facilities. Plenty of grass area to kick a ball about. Very friendly.

Ik was blij met: I managed to book one night of the bank holiday weekend which was good as campsites usually require 2. It was really quiet and peaceful. The spot we eventually got was perfect. The shower/toilet block was very modern and clean. The staff were very friendly. They said we didn’t have to hurry with packing up which was kind. The site was near the sea but it wasn’t too windy and the farmland around was beautiful and relaxing, and no country smell! Not too much of a walk to the village for a pint of real ale and also the beach was fairly close.

Ik was niet zo blij met: When we arrived there was nobody there to tell us where to pitch. Tried 3 telephone numbers and eventually someone came and showed us our spot but some other camper vans had already taken it. So tried to pitch up next to it but the ground was too hard. The manager sorted it out for us to pitch in another area that was really beautiful- perfect grass. There wasn’t a communal fridge but we had our freezer box anyway.

Ik was blij met: The open field at the rear of the site which the children enjoyed. The pitch was quiet with water close by asking with other facilities. The toilet block looked new and was very clean and nice.

Ik was blij met: Owners were very friendly and helpful. Facilities excellent.

Ik was niet zo blij met: There is one pub within walking distance of the site. Unfortunately when I visited in April the pub was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
