Ik was blij met: Very clean and tidy site . Bathroom and showers very clean . Pitch very level .

Ik was blij met: The play park is an easy distraction for kids. Facilities clean and modern. Pitch size was impressive. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Ik was blij met: Lovely park, play area for kids, toilet block was clean.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Toilet block was little too far from the field but we managed. Not the sites fault but some other camper walked their dogs behind our tents and didn’t clean up after them and played awful music all night.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Poorly maintained, no recycling, storage areas not hidden from view, cafe very expensive, pot wash area had tiny sinks with auto off water taps that shut off after 5 seconds , showers have auto off button taps that shut off after 5 seconds ( very annoying), grass cuttings everywhere just ends up in the awning, raised flowerbeds with no flowers growing, no edge strimming just made it look scruffy, zero effort by whoever runs this place to make it a nice stay, upon my exit the guy that opened the barrier completely ignored me(rude) , no attempt made to clear litter - the grass mower man just drove over a load of litter, shredding it everywhere

Ik was blij met: Toilets & showers regularly cleaned. Good little outdoor playground. Owners polite & helpful. Tidy site.

Ik was niet zo blij met: Advertised games room but this was closed. On arrival children went to the tea room to purchase a drink after long journey and were told no. Went to have breakfast one morning in the tea room and was told they had no food. Could do with some benches close to the playground for parents so they can sit and watch their children play.

Ik was blij met: Clean site, toilet block was always clean and it was a bonus to have use of their other sites swimming pool and facilities.

Ik was niet zo blij met: My children named the site Shreks swamp due to the flooding pitches and constant mud even after a few sunny days it didn’t dry up. The touring pitches lack drainage and are not fit for purpose as the caravan sank around 8inches or more when the tractor came out to push it on the pitch. We were warned at reception to keep the car on the road as it will get stuck which our friends did as the ground was so soft. They explained on arrival that they had cancelled 20 pitches over the Easter bank holiday due to flooding and I was surprised with the state of the pitch we were on that they didn’t cancel ours too. The showers are fine if it’s just you in the whole shower block however once the cubicles start filling up the water pressure goes very low and it’s not easy to wash shampoo out of your hair. They also advertise a games room however this is locked and used for storage for the site.
