Tyckte om: I recently embarked on a camping trip that turned out to be nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled amidst the serene wilderness, this escapade was a breath of fresh air, quite literally. From the moment we pitched our tents to the final flicker of the campfire, every moment was a testament to the beauty of the great outdoors. The location was pristine, with towering trees providing a natural canopy under which we found solace and serenity. The sound of the nearby stream was a soothing melody that lulled us into a state of tranquility, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. One of the highlights of this camping experience was undoubtedly the chance to disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with nature. Without the distraction of screens and notifications, we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the present moment, cherishing the simple joys of life. Exploring the surrounding wilderness was an adventure in itself. From leisurely hikes along winding trails to exhilarating encounters with local wildlife, every step brought with it a sense of wonder and awe. The breathtaking vistas that greeted us at every turn served as a reminder of nature's unparalleled beauty. Of course, no camping trip would be complete without delicious food cooked over an open flame. Whether it was roasting marshmallows under the starlit sky or savoring hearty meals cooked on a camp stove, each bite was infused with the flavors of the great outdoors. But perhaps the most memorable aspect of this camping experience was the sense of camaraderie forged around the campfire. As we shared stories, laughter, and toasted marshmallows, bonds were strengthened and memories were made that will last a lifetime. In conclusion, my camping trip was an unforgettable adventure that left me feeling rejuvenated and inspired. It served as a timely reminder of the importance of taking a step back from the chaos of everyday life and embracing the beauty of the natural world. I returned home with a renewed sense of appreciation for the simple pleasures in life and a heart full of cherished memories.

Tyckte om: Nice site not too busy even on Bank Holiday weekend. The cleanest rugby club changing rooms and showers I have ever used with 24hr access and outdoor washing up sink with hot water was super useful was ideal to have a choice of supermarkets within walking distance too

Tyckte om: Beautiful scenery, the site is overlooked by hills and is about a 10 minute walk into Kendal. Supermarkets and garages close by and good breakfast on site. Really lovely customer service and the field is well maintained. No issues with any other campers, but the staff were clear about the arrangements for security if we had needed them.

Tyckte inte om: The only negative was the communal showers (think school changing rooms). However they had hot water, were regularly cleaned and had plenty space to hang your belongings.

Tyckte om: Every thing was wonderful. Really enjoyed my stay the staff was brilliant. The toilets and shower rooms was nice and clean. The food bar was great and food was fantastic. We will be going back next year. But will be staying longer this time. We got there late and the staff was there to help us with everything we needed and got the key for the toilets and shower. Even got a cup of tea. Can say enough for everything was excellent

Tyckte om: Easy relaxed check in and rules. No set pitches just a field to do as you please. Close to morrisons and town centre.

Tyckte inte om: We didn’t realise showers are shared with no privacy at all. Hot water took a very long time to come through and even then it wasn’t that hot (mens). £5 deposit needed for fobs to access the toilets / showers. (Don’t forget them in your tent).
