喜欢: I love how peaceful the campsite is. The birds are singing, there's a stream burbling away nearby, and everything is so scenic. Adele helped me level up, assisted with my ramps, and came to check on me this morning. The farmer brought me freshly laid eggs and wouldn't take a penny, so I've had the freshest eggs I've ever had for breakfast, not far from where the chickens laid them. Only opened last year, this campsite is fantastic, a real gem, that I will be coming back to again and again! The road up to the campsite would be challenging in a lower car, but my little hippy bus managed it in first gear no trouble. It's part of the fun!

喜欢: Back to rugged nature with the safety net of basic civilized amenities. Social ares that enabled you to expand beyond the confines of the van. Friendly helpful hosts.

喜欢: A stunning location with fabulous views across the valley.Driving up the lane is like travelling to Middle Earth. It’s only a few minutes from the motorway but a completely different world ..a wonderful wilderness. While it rained heavily the result were some stunning rainbows including one which ended right next to us ( the two large rocks on the path over the stream by the office - if you’re looking for the crock of gold ) & there were shooting stars and tawny owls. This is the perfect place for a family adventure, it’s very safe with loads of places to explore. It is beautifully cared for with facilities which while basic are very clean and accessible. The whole site is managed by the lovely owners who checkin regularly to make sure you have everything and are happy to tell you the stories of the land. Go there while you still can to experience this wonderful wilderness.

喜欢: Absolutely amazing time! Spectacular hosts nothing was too much trouble extremely welcoming. I was amazed by the compost toilets! Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. It was that great we went back the following weekend but stayed in the shepherds hut! Definitely recommend
