- Please note: in case of inclement weather it may be necessary to pitch on gravel hardstanding instead of grass. This could mean it's not always possible to use an awning due to the configuration of the pitch.

Em va agradar: Quiet touring site with level grass pitches. Clean facilities and well-kept green areas. Welcomed by friendly Site Warden and shown our pitch. I had written on my booking a specific requirement and the Site Manager was very understanding of my this. When you arrive, you need to phone the Reception area and given a pass number for the security gate and the keypad is on the back of the barrier so you need to get out of your vehicle to access this! Watched quite a few people looking for this in confusion. Upon arrival you are given a door code to access the Showers/Toilets and Washing- Up facilities. Plenty of good walks around, especially if you head over to UK's largest flood Plain meadow (Portholme) where you can walk to Godmanchester and Huntingdon. The canals nearby are exceptionally clean and you can spot the local wildlife doing their thing....
No em va agradar: Not a real problem but can be inconvenient for some - the facilities shut for cleaning at 10.30 - 11.00 so if you are leaving the site to go home at 11.00 am (like most customers do), you are not able to visit the facilities just before you leave! I did anyway at around 11.05 am am as I was somewhat desperate, but there was no-one in the building anyway. I felt a bit naughty breaking this rule! 11.00 to 12.00 pm would be an ideal choice of shutdown, but then I am not a busy Warden with lots to do!

Point noted about toilet block closure at 1030am but please note latest check out is 11am and it takes an hour to turn the block around (plus myself!!) and ready for new people checking in at 12noon so sadly not possible to close them later!

Em va agradar: Ideal location for the one night. Not far from showers and toilets'. Toilets and shower were warm a it was nice to have music playing.
No em va agradar: As you drive up to the site you wonder what you are going to as its a bit shabby. The shower block was ok not the cleanest and shower head holder just flopped down.
