  • Well-kept site in scenic countryside near Skegness
  • Peaceful but close to seaside amenities
  • Two fishing lakes, friendly family team and well-kept facilities
Off to Skeggy? Make a champion decision to stay in peaceful rest in the countryside between days at the beach, with a stay at The Laurels at Addlethorpe. As a chuffed former guest chuffedly pointed out, the park is the best of both worlds, close enough to Skegness (three miles) to get there without any faff, but far away enough to be away from maddening crowds and any accompanying din. Settle down here to use the site as a base for Skegness, Ingoldmells and the Lincolnshire coast, or just to chill out in peace in the scenic countryside: if you're up for a bit of the latter, you'll probably also like the park's two fully-stocked fishing lakes at which to get contemplative… The park covers 18 acres so there's heaps of space for all, and everything is kept an eye on by the friendly family team which goes out of its way to make sure everyone has a champion stay. Amenities are immaculately kept and include a toilet block with hot showers, a launderette and a drying room.

Electric grass and gravel touring pitch

Liked: Absolutely top-notch stay from start to finish. The site owners Sally and Neil went out of their way to make sure we had all of the information required as we were arriving late, (ie code for electric gates, location of our pitch, shower block, elsan points etc. The site was immaculately presented and is very well maintained, with clean modern facilities. Staff were so polite and helpful. We have stayed at many sites in the UK. This has to be one of the best sites on the East Coast.

Liked: The site was well kept and nice area with some scenic walks near by

Disliked: I thought the site could do with washing area facilities for people wanting to do their pots outside there caravan and also could of done with a washing machine and tumble dryer like other sites I would also say the site could have done with signage or a leaflet letting you know what time the gates get shut as we went to go out for a meal and the gates was locked which ruined birthday plans

From the manager: The Laurels Director does not normally respond on here as we feel our communication with all our customers is very much one of a personal nature . However , when we read comments that are factually incorrect then we feel a response from the Director himself is needed . Firstly , the site has a pot washing area & a fully equipped Laundry with a Commercial Washing Machine & separate Tumble Dryer . Also , the leaflet containing all the site information including the security gates entrance code ( for 24 hour access )& FREE WIFI access was sent to the Mobile Telephone Number provided with the booking from The Director's personal Mobile Number . This was READ & acknowledged by the customer . There was definitely no need for birthday plans to be ruined as the mobile number given on arrival was available 24 hours for ALL questions . Many thanks Neil Hobbins Director to The Laurels Holiday Park
