Liked: Everything! Site hosts were friendly, helpful, available, toilets were immaculately clean. Site well kept. EHU is on paid-for meter but hardly cost anything at all. This feels like a very safe site, would definitely recommend and revisit.
Disliked: nothing to dislike for us

Liked: Toilet/shower facilities clean, modern, warm, free.
Disliked: Called in at site weeks prior to stay, chose 2 pitches together for self and family, agreed and supposedly allocated by warden. When arrived were on 2 completely different pitches closer to the noisy road. Excuse by the same warden being down to someone else's mistake.

Liked: Everything! Couldn't find fault with a single thing, and I'm sometimes a bit picky! Would 100% come back - the lady at the gate was so friendly and helpful, without being intrusive. Excellent sized pitch, exceptionally clean bathroom facilities, nice views (with an amazing sunset!) and all garden areas are nicely tended to. Our pitch was on a very slight slope, but if you are experienced then you'll have the correct equipment with you anyway so it's not a problem. Gravel surface but easy to bash your pegs into. We were sceptical about being charged for electricity as we've never had this before, but honestly now feel that it's a great idea as if you don't want any, then you aren't paying for a service you don't require. We stayed for 3 nights (rec'd £3 free electricity from P-Up) and when we left there was still about £1.50 left, and that's after using the fridge, hair straighteners, laptop, phones etc. Great security on site, very dog friendly if you have one with you, with a large field to walk it on. Cute little information shed, and also a laundry room but we didn't go in there so can't comment on it. Washing up area, lots of recycling bins. The clientele all seemed sensible friendly mature people, so no rowdy loud groups disturbing the peace. Retford is a nice little town too - takes about an hour to walk at a leisurely pace, with a couple of liquid pit stops en route of course 😉
Disliked: Nothing at all! If I had to make 2 teeny tiny 'comments' then it would have been nice to use our firepit, especially as the ground is gravel and not grass, but I totally understand why some sites prefer not to allow it, and the hand dryer in the ladies loo is next to useless! 😂 But nothing that a good old shake of the hands didn't fix! These aren't negatives though, just my own minor comments.

Liked: Quiet site. No noise from road. Shower block great, clean, warm and piped music funky. Tidy and friendly site. Liked security gates, CCTV and location.
Disliked: Storage caravans limiting lovely view then a Caravan pitched in front of us so no view at all after that. Not the campers fault, just position of pitch. Also no one answering phone when I rang several times as instructed, to advise of our late arrival for access process. The wardens were at a private function and had taken their phone but turned it off or not answering the call. Maybe should have passed it to the people covering for them. But a lovely couple gave us access and showed us to our pitch and were helpful. Stated on site shop stocking 'essentials' but wasnt groceries..
