Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked: Really lovely campsite set in very calm and idyllic countryside location. Super friendly people and very helpful. The kids area is great for little ones, wild wooded area with tractors and a few swings and tree climbing frames. Lovely family feeling. Pitch was large and quiet. Toilets and amenities all really nice. Amazing looking little cafe/ bar that was closed when we stayed but looked like a really nice place to hang out. We really enjoyed our stay! Would definitely recommend! Our children are 5 and 2.

Electric grass tent pitch (large)
Liked: Lovely cafe on site and a great, well maintained grassy site. Pitches are checked over and cleaned up after every stay. Plenty of toilets, showers and washing up areas. Lovely location Woodland area for children to play in.
Disliked: Toilets are cleaned daily to a high standard but could probably do with another clean also earlier in the day especially during school holidays when it's busier.

Liked: The view, very beautiful campsite.
Disliked: Unclean and overcrowded facilities. Toilets and showers weren’t cleaned and bins weren’t emptied in the whole 3 days we were there. Could be so lovely, but let down by the staff. Play area in the woods was very tatty, all toys broken and left to get worse. No customer service, didn’t see any staff except the guy trying to forcibly remove the tent opposite us, tearing out the guy ropes when it was still being used by a family.

Liked: Very pretty campsite All staff were super friendly and helpful Pitches were very well laid out. Everything was neat and tidy. Great kitchen, shower, toilet facilities. Very handy cafe on site with a license to sell alcohol. Live music on the Saturday night. Best scampi and chips from the visiting van we’ve had in a long while. Would definitely recommend this campsite.

Liked: The campsite was beautiful, each pitch was beautifully maintained. There were fantastic amenities including a little kitchen area, plenty of clean flushing toilets, good showers and I even spotted a few washing machines. The Cauldren cafe on site was lovely as were the people who were running it. All in all a great stay, we will be back!
