Been thinking about a getaway to the East Anglian coast? Then you'll want to give these big, comfortable tents a proper inspection. Blanca's Bell Tents at Courtyard Farm is a small-scale glamping site set in the grounds of a working organic farm a couple of miles from the coast, with Hunstanton's seafront and beaches a 10-minute drive away. Each tent here has a double bed and two singles (which, handily, can be folded up into chairs when not in use). Colourful mats, cushions, solar-powered lighting and low tables create a comfortable interior, while outdoor highlights include picnic tables, firepits and barbecues. Showers, loos and washing-up facilities are shared between the tents and are all maintained to a high standard. This friendly farm mostly grows arable crops and is well-known locally for prioritising wildlife and welcoming walkers. There are several circular walks you can take around the grounds on well-established footpaths, as well and lots of other well-trodden rights of way – including the long-distance Peddars Way – slightly further afield. You won't have to wander far to stock up on supplies or find somewhere fab for a meal out, though – the village of Ringstead is just a mile away with its well-stocked local shop and popular pub restaurant.

Liked: Tents are lovingly decorated and very comfy. Fire pit and BBQ made for great evening in. Hot showers and clean toilets and useful little kitchen. Peaceful and gorgeous break away.

Disliked: Very minor suggestion but a mirror above the sink in the toilets would be useful

Liked: Our stay was lovely ! Blanca’s bell tents were really relaxing, comfortable and clean. The facilities were also good and again really clean. The area was really quiet with lots of nice walks and near to some lovely places to visit. We would definately stay again. Highly recommended. Thanks 🙏

Liked: Site, space, location, facilities, tent

Disliked: A few advisory points. Would be good if shower head stayed in position and if there was a small shelf in the toilets for a wash bag. Also locks can be hard to use.

Liked: Beautiful peaceful place. Very grateful for the excellent kitchen facilities and logs, charcoal and kindling. The bell tent looked amazing with the fairy lights. We enjoyed seeing a barn owl in the evening.

Disliked: No temperature control on hot showers (to shower the kids), so gave them bucket baths - easy fix.

Liked: Peace & quiet. Small site. Comfy double bed. Adequate facilities.

Disliked: Wasps, wasps and more wasps! Two showers - only one with hot water.

Liked: Well thought out area with only 5 bell tents well spread out in a meadow. The grass is cut to each tent and around each tent, but the rest of the meadow is left alone, creating a wonderful setting. The tents themselves were well kitted out with comfortable beds and colourful decor. Each tent comes with its own fire pit and good size BBQ. The hosts have definitely gone the extra mile and supply each tent with a good amount of firelighters, firewood and kindling for the fire pit and a bag of BBQ charcoal, which is a nice touch. Location wise its ideal as you certainly feel like you are "in the middle of nowhere" when in fact you are literally 5 minutes from Brancaster beach and the same from Hunstanton.

Liked: Lovely location - very peaceful with beautiful farm surroundings. Great large field for young children to run around in, with beautiful wild flowers. Toilet and showers worked well, with plenty of hot water for showers, and a really useful on site kitchen with kettle and microwave.

Blanca's Bell Tents at Courtyard Farm has a lot of relaxing outdoor activities in the surrounding area, including the long-distance Peddars Way (10 minutes' walk), a 50-mile traffic-free trail that traces the route of an old Roman road through the Norfolk and Suffolk countryside. Also consider having a wander around the RSPB's reserve at Titchwell Marsh (10 minutes' drive) for birdwatching, some landscape photography or simply to appreciate its far-reaching views across The Wash. Now you feel in tune with your surroundings, you might like to head off to Wild Ken Hill (10 minutes), a local rewilding estate where you can learn more about local ecology, or if you've got kids to entertain you could also organise a trip to Snettisham Park (15 minutes), a family-friendly farm park with pony rides and deer safaris for the little ones. The local area also has plenty of grand estates and formal gardens to explore, with highlights including Houghton Hall (20 minutes), an 18th-century mansion near the coast that was built by Britain's first Prime Minister, and Sandringham (20 minutes), one of the royal family's favourite country residences.

Admission

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Changes cannot be made once you have booked.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
Protective masks must be worn at all times in common areas.
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
