Electric optional gravel motorhome pitch
Liked: An excellent location for cycling into Carlisle. The gravel pitches are in a sort of courtyard surrounded by the bistro, new gym and shower block and a beautiful church but we were not overlooked. Showers and toilets immaculate. Bistro lovely. Didn’t eat but had a drink. The people were very nice Would definitely return if in the area.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Very clean and well maintained toilet/shower block. Good sized pitches. Decent selection of drinks and food at the on-site bar and restaurant.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike about the site, it is a remote site so best to make sure you bring what you need as there's no shops nearby.

Electric optional hardstanding motorhome pitch
Liked: first time campervaners could not have picked a better site for our first night out . The on-site facilities were amazing that included the pristine shower and toilet block . The food was delicious we had the-chicken and veg soup (home made) on the lunch time . Were going to have pizza but they ran out of dough as everyone wanted pizza that night not surprised they looked amazing so opted for the Cumberland sausage and home made chips which was really nice . They are opening a museum shortly. There is also a gym on site if you fancy a workout The hosts were really welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back in the near future
Disliked: Nothing
