  • Luxury riverside glamping in a peaceful village location
  • A quarter of an hour's drive from Brampton or Carlisle
  • Cosy glamping pods with private decking and hot tubs
When you're looking for a romantic treat, sometimes only a luxury glamping trip will do. Inglewood Escape is certainly well-placed to help out with such a stay, as these smart pods are located on the edge of the river Eden in Cumbria, with cosy interiors, a secluded decking area and a private hot tub coming as standard. On top of that, these self-contained units come with an ensuite wet room, a kingsize bed (all linen is included), thick towels and luxury bathrobes, plus a 32" LED smart TV for movie nights. For self-catering, there's also a well-equipped galley kitchen, where an induction hob, microwave, fridge with a freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, utensils and tea towels are all included. Inglewood Escape prepares a thoughtful welcome pack for new arrivals, so guests here have access to a bottle of local milk plus orange juice, tea, coffee and sugar. If you have any special requests, the site team will do their best to deliver. Handily, this site is just south of the village of Wetheral, an attractive spot around a 15-minute drive from either Brampton or Carlisle. Local amenities in the village can be reached on foot and include pubs, a café and a railway station.

Camping pod (hot tub)

Liked: Lovely quiet and excellent accommodation! Hot tub excellent and very warm and relaxing in the evening. Everything accommodated for, Janice the owner was lovely! Close to Carlisle for any sightseeing and the coast if you wanted! Will definitely stay again. Excellent amenities. We had a couple of clear nights so you star gaze at the stars from the hot tub as no artificial light

Camping pod (hot tub)

Liked: Our stay at the cabin was perfect. Such a beautiful and peaceful location, with walking routes near to the river and only a ten minute walk into the local town with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. The pod itself was so nice and everything you might need, they had thought of! With added extras like cup cakes and fresh milk / orange juice. The owners were lovely and very accommodating. So glad we found this place and will definitely be returning. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Disliked: Having to go home.

Camping pod (hot tub)

Liked: The pod was perfect had everything you needed, lots of added extras and everyday essentials including kitchen roll, tea towel, hand towel, surface cleaning materials. There were freshly baked cakes, fresh milk and orange juice which was lovely. The owners were lovely and so accommodating - they even stopped when passing while it was raining and gave us a lift back to our pod which was so lovely. They were happy to go over and above for us. The hot tub was brilliant and ready for us when we arrived. It was a 10 minute walk to the local town which had some bars and lovely restaurants. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again!

Camping pod (hot tub)

Liked: Everything. From the 1st to the last minute of our break. Janice the owner was a lovely person. Came across as hard working and had a vision for the plot of land for the pods. We were in the Benedict Pod it was immaculate. Every item you would need for your break was included. Only food and liquid refreshments needed. Towels and gowns supplied. Even down to the clothes horse for our wet clothing. Adults only. Outlook sitting in the tub was wonderful. Talking smoke alarms fitted in pods. Temps and chemical were checked twice a day. Can't wait to go back. Short walk into town. Recommend booking in advance for meals in local bars.

Liked: We absolutely loved our weekend out with Mrs, the pod was very clean and tidy. Over 200 miles and 5h in traffic but definitely worth it!! Janice is such a lovely warm person, who made sure we had everything we needed, many thanks and definitely see you again!!
