Liked: We had an amazing time at Puddlemire campsite. Beautiful location. Host directions were very clear and helped us to transfer heavy luggage from campsite to car. Toilet facilities were very neat and clean.

Liked: Peaceful well kept site with excellent facilities. The owners were really helpful in getting us to and from the pitch. Campsites without cars are the way forward it's so much more peaceful. Loved the scenery, the river, hammocks and location to go explore. Would definitely stay again!

Liked: Fabulous little campsite. No frills but just the most gorgeous location by the river. Kids loved the hammocks. We had a pitch with a private compost toilet & shower which whilst basic was very clean and perfectly adequate, and plenty of hot water in the shower. Owners super helpful in transporting our stuff from the car to the pitch (not far but a very steep hill) and explaining the lovely walk to the pub. Loads to do and see in the area but also a lovely place to just chill. Will definitely be back.
Disliked: Really nothing! Don't come if you want facilities with bells & whistles but if you're happy with basic camping it's perfect.

Liked: This may be my favourite site in the area. The spot is perfect, sheltered from wind on both sides and lovely surroundings. The host has the perfect balance of helpfulness without being intrusive. Facilities are great and super clean (2-3 times a day cleaned). You don’t need toilet roll or even washing up liquid – the items you always forget. I was worried parking would be far away from the pitches, but its literally a 5min walk. The host makes sure nobody ferry’s anything heavy (or almost anything at all) and whizzing around in the truck at pitch up and pack up and drops everything and anything at your car. (she even took our young ones off for a ride around the site so we could pitch-up in peace. If you don’t like bio-toilets/sawdust toilets, then don’t worry – the normal toilets are 50yards away. Hot water is on-demand for the showers and never runs out 😊 Bring lots of extra clothes for the kids, they loved playing in the streams. Advise anyone to pay the little extra for a firepit/bbq – fresh wood and firelighters dropped off daily (amazing value).
Disliked: Nothing - well thought out and beautiful site.
