Wild camping – by a harbour? Get back to basics in a wide open field with a wild camping vibe at West Sussex's Manor Farm Harbour Camping, scenically set on the edge of a field at the foot of the Chidham Peninsula in the Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There's easy access from the farm to the local pebbly beach and the coastal footpath, and it's within easy reach of the seaside towns of West Wittering, Bognor Regis and Littlehampton as well as the South Downs, Arundel, Chichester, Brighton and Portsmouth. Manor Farm has portable toilets and cold running water (please note there are no on-site showers). Fires are allowed on pitches in hired firepits made from old farm machinery; logs and kindling are available to buy throughout your stay. To sort eats and supplies, pubs and small shops can be found in neighbouring villages, and nearby village Chidham has a traditional local pub dishing up good food. The farm welcomes dogs at all times. Please note that the grass access track to the remote camping field occasionally becomes impassable following heavy rain. A paddock nearer to the farmhouse as an alternative which still has harbour views and the same amenities is used then.
