From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I mentioned to you when you checked in that you can walk into Bude through the back of the site which avoids all main roads. You had said as the weather was going to change, you intended to get a taxi and asked for numbers which I gave you. Thank you for mentioning that we are a clean and relaxed site.

Electric grass pitch
Liked: What's not to like. Lovely quiet campsite despite it's location just off the main road! Loved the streamside location, everything was well thought- and laid-out and lovely and clean, and pitches well-spaced. As a single female traveller I felt very safe and secure. And Chris was fabulous when I contacted him because I had mis-booked the dates online too! Delighted to have found this site and likely to return to explore Bude a bit more!!
Disliked: Absolutely the only thing to criticise is the somewhat rusty shower rack in the end ladies shower. But that is if I am being really picky! Everything was fab!

Liked: Loved our stay, we stayed for 6 nights with our dog. Staff were so helpful and attentive, toilets/showers were always clean.
Disliked: The only thing we could moan about is how far away the electrical hook up point was from the pitch so just make sure you have a long enough cable. People running the site luckily had one long enough for us to borrow for our stay.

Liked: Friendly welcome, clean, tidy and well laid out site with roomy pitches and comprehensive amenities. Flat site with stream running past at the boundary, and although alongside the main road traffic noise was not noticible. Dog friendly with walk trails for exercising.

Liked: Small site.
Disliked: Road noise. Dog waste bins not emptied on a regular basis (overflowing) . Stinging nettles growing up & over electric, hook up.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. As you booked through Pitchup and would have received confirmation through them, we don't send one as well. We are very organised for a small business without automated systems and were expecting you on your day of arrival. One dog bin was nearing capacity during your stay but we have nine others which guests can use. All bins were emptied two days before you checked out. We will address the weeds around the EHU today so thank you for bringing that to our attention.
