  • Quiet four-acre site in Helstone surrounded by wildlife
  • Within 15 minutes' drive of Tintagel Castle and five beaches
  • Low light pollution and dark skies; easy access to the A39
Bunny Fields Camping is a small-scale site set over just under four acres in Helstone, Cornwall. Friendly, laidback and with lots of wildlife, guests staying here have a good chance of spotting buzzards and bunnies (but of course…) as well as neighbouring horses and peacocks, all against a backdrop of rolling countryside. Because of the horses next door, only very well-behaved dogs are allowed on site (and they'll have to remain on leads). It's very important that you don't feed the horses either, however much they may bat their eyelashes at you. There is very low light pollution here, which makes Bunny Fields Camping an excellent spot for stargazing. And, with barbecues allowed, you'll have plenty of snacks to nibble on as you gaze up at all the constellations… In terms of facilities, Bunny Fields Camping keeps it simple with its portable toilets; there are no showers on site. Located close to the A39, this site is within a quarter of an hour's drive of five separate beaches. The nearest town is Camelford (five minutes' drive), where there are handy amenities like pubs, takeaways, food shops and cafés.
