Electric grass pitch

Liked: Very friendly staff, happy to help. It was a very windy day and we went out fir the day but when we came back our Horning had blown off but the staff had very kindly taken all our items that were in the Horning and stored them for us so that they would stay dry and not blow away. It was very thoughtful and we were very grateful

Disliked: Was windy!

Liked: The campsite and facilities were very clean and kept to a high standard. The staff are so friendly and the onsite shop has anything you may have forgotten. The campsite is in a superb location for long walks and there's a bus qhich takes your directly to Weymouth roughly 10 minute walk away.

Electric grass tent pitch

Liked: The welcome was great, don't even have to get out if your vehicle....tge park was spotless, the facilexcellent including a beautiful kids park with table tennis table, the shop had most of anything needed. The place was incredibly quiet at all times which is great for us, it's a bit out of the way but that was no problem for us either

Disliked: Nothing

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Good clean facilities, pub/restaurant on site and really great shop. Grounds well maintained. Staff all cheerful and very helpful.

Disliked: Only gripes - one hand drier shared for the whole of each facility area and no waste bins in cubicles! Pub loo not good.

Electric grass pitch

Liked: Nice family park. Very well-kept toilets, nice and convenient places to wash dishes. Dog showers. The location is right on the cliff and literally 5 minutes from the beach.

Disliked: The beach is not suitable for swimming and playing because it is too small, the water is very stinking of algae, the muddy water is receding into the distance. just a swamp.

Fully-serviced gravel touring pitch

Liked: Our wonderful experience started with a great welcome from friendly staff. Finding the pitch was easy and almost level. The hardstanding was big enough for van and awning, with a huge grass area for the car, or two, or three. Yes, it was big. The toilet facilities were very clean with massive cubicles containing toilet, shower and wash basin - home from home. There was a second toilet block which was opened at the weekend when it was busier. Again it was spotless with many separate showers and toilets. There were also family facilities and a locked disabled room. There was a large undercover washing up area and a launderette too. All very nice indeed. The bin area was kept clean and emptied every day. One of the best chemical disposals I've encountered with its own room and door. Again, spotless and very easy to use. Definitely of a style that all sites should adopt. All in all, very nearly perfect. We were pleased to see that the children's play area was not only kept clean, but the equipment was inspected every day for safety. We used the on-site resteraunt and bar a couple of times during out week stay and the selection of draught beers and wines was ideal for us. Food was pretty good and the service was excellent, with minimum wait times. Reasonable value too. Although quite busy, the site was very peaceful with no road traffic noise at all. The on site shop was huge and very well stocked with pretty much everything you need and much more besides. This included a host of camping equipment that would put many actual caravan sales shops to shame. Within a 5 minute drive is an Aldi, Costa, Greg's, burger King and toolstation, amongst others. There was also a local co-op and one of the best fish and chip shops we've ever tried, even supplying desserts. I had a really great apple and blackberry crumble with hot custard and my wife has a chocolate and orange cheesecake. These were of resteraunt quality as were the fish and chips, and everything stayed perfectly hot when we got back to the van. This was a perfect holiday for us and we will be using the site many times in the future. Thankyou to all staff for a wonderful time.

Disliked: Limited menu available. A clip to hold the hose in chemical toilet would be a great help to stop it just dangling on the floor, making it wet. Free wi-fi available but kept cutting in and out. When busy, could be a problem.
