Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: We love Rodney Stokes. A small, perfectly kept site with spotless facilities. Quiet, adult only site. Ample space for our camper van and awning. All pitches spaced out nicely and hedges run along the back for privacy. Tom who looks after the site is really friendly and very helpful. Toilet and shower facilities spotless. A laundry room where you can use the washing machine and dryer for a small charge and wash up is a bonus too.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike, although if there was one improvement it would be optional Wi-Fi, perhaps at an extra cost if needed?

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Loved everything there, lovely residents with a lovely pupper. Tom was amazing, really helpful and friendly with a very sweet pupper. Facilities were amazing, walked in and were shocked! Always clean, only a small amount of grass the day the grass was cut otherwise pristine. Small campsite which was perfect and rarely bumbed into anyone in the loos. Quiet and immaculately kept. Have to leave cars at the top of the campsite in the car park which was brilliant in our opinion as no slamming doors though the night etc. Can bring your car down to load and unload so no need to worry about carrying everything down to your pitch. None of the resident dogs were barking at all that we heard which again was perfect and all were friendly. Overall, perfect and would stay again!

Liked: Lovely small quiet site. Really clean and well kept. The site manager (Tom) is lovely and very welcoming as well as beautiful Bluebell his Border Collie. There are some beautiful walks right on the doorstep. The short walk to the local pub is a really lovely walk. A little further on (about 15 minutes walk) is the Cider Barn which has a lovely outdoor seating area. It also serves good food.
Disliked: The showers have fixed heads so makes it quite difficult to shower and wash hair.

Liked: Very clean toilets & showers (but see comment below). Quiet, felt sheltered Near Cheddar Gorge
Disliked: Shower heads clogged with lime scale so water sprayed everywhere around but not where you needed it. Had to pay 20p for shower & 20p also needed for hairdryer. RULES! Too many, over 30 counted, considering Adults only Site, completely unnecessary, felt very patronising - especially instructions on how to flush loo in toilet blocks! Pub at top of site not open No Wi-Fi

From the manager: Hi Vicky, if you had read the rules then you would have noticed a line that said if there is any problems please report them to Tom. The reasons there are rules is because of fools. The pub has nothing to do with us.
Great over night stay.

From the manager: We are really sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay. The consistently poor weather, of late, caused challenging conditions for us all.

Liked: Nice and very quiet place , very clean , close to main attraction, dog friendly.
Disliked: the shower head is only in one position, there is no additional movable handle, which makes it not the most comfortable shower option
