Liked: This is my second visit. I really like this park. It's in different sections so doesn't feel big and everyone is really friendly. It's close to home (30 minutes drive) so is perfect for a weekend getaway. Being fairly local, I know there is lots to do and see in the area so it would be good for a longer stay too.
Disliked: Shower block is not as swish as some though it is always clean and tidy. No wifi but good 4g signal.

Liked: Really pretty site in an excellent location. Easy to get to. Clearly very popular as it was full. Some of the pitches seemed very close together but I suspect for groups travelling together or friends meeting up this is just what they want.
Disliked: Toilets and showers were OK but I've experienced better. Wouldn't put me off coming again though. We only spent one night here so on reflection didn't stay long enough to give a fair or accurate account.

Liked: I was pleased with the size of the pitches and the amount of living space outside of my tent. The facilities were very good, with excellent showers that actually got hot, and the grounds were kept immaculate. I had a thoroughly good week there and was sad to come home. I will be booking again for next year and possibly again later this year.

Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: A beautiful lovely site great for children in a fantastic location next to the fantastic beautiful village of Lacock
Disliked: Sadly we booked a hardstanding pitch that said it was unlimited in size. Also stated there was a green grass area putting Awning up. When booking our pitch I explained we would have a second car and a large Awning. The day before we received an email which showed us on a map which pitch we had been allocated on the map it showed us pitch number 23 which had a big green area next to it so we thought it was perfect, but when we got there, there was a small green grass area next to our pitch that even a small awning which struggle to be put up on. we tried phoning the site and looked for someone to talk to. Eventually we found the warden who agreed the pitch was way too small. Sadly the site was fully booked so we basically had to make do in the end. We had to pitch up half on someone else’s pitch with our van and then have the Awning half on and half off, the grass area. This Awning was not level and as the floor at that point of hard surface was a rough gravelled area. we luckily had a footprint for our Awning and put that down. We also put a outdoor mat under the awning as well but still sadly we have ended up with holes in the bottom of the awning. This was such a shame as a site itself was beautiful and the warden. She was lovely and tried her hardest to help sort out the situation. The fault came from whoever allocated the pitches I don’t know if they didn’t read the fact we stated we had a large Awning or if they went by the map that showed a big green grass area next to it that sadly wasn’t there. When walking around the site virtually every other pitch that was at this site would have worked perfectly for us.
