Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked: A super peaceful site, mainly flat
Disliked: Only one toilet and one shower - ok when not busy but wouldn’t be with more people staying. There is no hot water from the taps meaning no hot water for washing up. Grass in field was long and would benefit from a cut.

From the manager: We are very much a wild basic camping site, so grass remains much as a field even during the summer months. We do have another toilet that is open when we reach our maximum capacity of 10 pitches or we have high numbers per pitch. There were 8 pitches on your particular stay, so I am glad the toilet facilities were ok. Thank you for your comments.

From the manager: We are open to families, the weekend you stayed was particularly busy due to school holidays. Generally our site is usually booked by couples due to the fact are we are very a small quiet site. Weekdays are very much quieter with a usual capacity of 2 to 3 pitches Thank you for your comments

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: This is a lovely campsite with everything needed. The location was great for us too. We were the only campers on the site when we stayed, but having being told there's only a few pitches on site there is plenty of space. Car can be parked next to the pitch too! Firepit, wood & kindling was £15 for the night and an additional £10 for any extra nights for more wood. The facilities were basic but very clean. The owner, Melanie, is really helpful & friendly! We had a fantastic 2 night stay, thank you.
