Cliciwch yma am y fersiwn Cymraeg New for 2013, Pant y March is coming over all posh in more ways than one. First of all, we will be hosting Feather Down's highest hot tub as we are proud to become a Frills farm. Secondly, with only two tents we can justly lay claim to being the most exclusive farm in the Feather Down stable. So it's easy to take over the whole place for that special family gathering, girlie weekend or friends reunion If you feel like a caged animal from Monday to Friday and the great outdoors is your thing, then a visit to Pant y March will do you the world of good. We don’t believe anyone or anything should be penned in – whether animal or human – and our sheep, pigs, calves and donkeys all roam free, though if you bring your horse, we’re more than happy to stable it. We are the Jones family, Geraint, Llinos and daughter Martha, and we purchased Pant y March in 2007 with the aim of farming it in a traditional, organic and sustainable way. The family has had a long association with the place as Llinos’ grandfather was born here more than a century ago. We keep 300 hardy Welsh Mountain ewes. Due to its mountainous location the farm is a peaceful haven without a lot of heavy machinery, meaning that younger visitors can be free to roam. The location of our two exclusive and luxurious Feather Down Frills tents is truly jaw dropping with far-reaching lake views that afford our guests spectacular, glowing sunsets that shimmer of the water and which you can enjoy from your private hot tub next to your tent. We also have an 'in-progress' den sited near to the tents, which we encourage our younger guests to add to when they stay with us. Pets are welcome at Pant y March farm as long as they are kept under close control.

Local attractions

Our site is set high on the mountainside overlooking Llyn Tegid (Lake Bala) - Wales's largest natural lake - Yr Aran, Arenig Fawr and other peaks in Snowdonia. Once here you'll want to try the array of watersports, from canoeing and kayaking to white water rafting and windsurfing. You could also stride across the hills, or along any one of miles of footpaths leading away from the site. At the very least there’s the stunning 45-minute walk to The Eagles Inn at Llanuwchllyn for Sunday lunch. Access to Lake Bala at Llangywer is just a mile away and here you'll find a secluded beach, picnic area and The Bala Lake Railway, aboard which you can view the lakeside. Further afield, within a 45 minute drive of us, are endless empty sandy beaches, castles, prehistoric tombstones, slate mines, Portmeirion village, Mount Snowdon, Cadair Idris, Llangollen Canal (including the world famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct) and much, much more.
