Liked: Great site 👍 would go back again. Nice and clean, nice size good flat pitches. The facilities/ communal area is a great touch with everything you might need in there. Juliette and Leigh the owners are very welcoming and helpful. We arrived Saturday and left on Tuesday. Iv nothing negative to say about the place. Iv already recommended this place to other campers we know. 👍👍

Liked: What can I say, this was possibly the best campsite I have ever stayed at! Beautiful site, beautiful area and 5 star facilities. The kitchen area and bathroom area were well stocked, comfortable and clean. The owners were super friendly and helpful. The whole site had a lovey BBQ together that the owners arranged in the dining area on the Sunday afternoon. We hired a fire pit on our last evening which was the cherry on the cake!

Liked: Lovely quiet campsite. Very clean with nice warm showers. Very accommodating hosts who put on a bbq on the Sunday afternoon. Lovely dog friendly beaches not far away. Nice walk along the river from the village.

Liked: Been campervaning for 10 years this is the best site we have ever been . Adults only, lovely flat pitches . immaculate toilets and showers with everything you need. communal area an added bonus providing a fridge freezer microwave kettle toaster. washing up area great clothes sponges washing up liquid provided. The owners Lee and Juliette go above and beyond to make you feel welcome , even did a bbq for the whole campsite . it won’t be our last visit 😎

Liked: The site was immaculate, friendly hosts, facilities were more than what you would expect from a campsite. Hosts went out of their way to put on a BBQ for all guests on the bank holiday weekend.

Liked: The site is in a peaceful location and is excellently layer out. The facilities are new and kept very clean. The provision of freezers and fridges in the communal area is a bonus. Kettle and microwave for campers is a great idea. Free WiFi is good enough for most needs.

Liked: Small, peaceful site with lovely walks a river and a pub all within 5 minute walk away. Spotlessly clean facilities, the whole site is so well kept and looked after. There is a covered communal kitchen/dining area with washing up facilities but also fridge and freezer with an ice dispenser. Microwave, kettle and even little tea/coffee packs you can purchase! You can also buy milk from the fridge. Basically all the essentials are covered if you forget anything! Such a lot of thought has gone into everything you can tell the owners care about their site. It is a family run site and we were met with a very friendly welcome. It is adults only which is another plus for us, dogs are allowed but I liked the fact that people are reminded to keep them under control and to clean up after them. We will definitely return, it is now in our list of favourites!

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Guests under the age of 18 are not allowed on site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
There is no reception at this site. Please check in at the bungalow at the campsite instead.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 21 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Bookings must not be for more than 28 consecutive nights.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Drones, kites, remote control cars and pit bikes are not permitted.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
Public areas are non-smoking.
Quiet hours must be respected between 10:30 p.m. and 7 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The site is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 5 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
Single-sex bookings of 5 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.

Pitches

Please note, pup tents are to be used for storage purposes only. Guests may not use them for sleeping.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Reception

Reception is unmanned after 8 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the site are unlit.

Vehicles

No vehicle movement between 12 a.m. and 6:30 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
Units longer than 9.1 metres are not allowed.

Additional terms

The maximum gazebo size allowed is 3m x 3m.

If you are bringing a roof tent, please let the site know.

Dogs: excessive barking will not be tolerated.

Day visitors must be notified to the campsite at least 24hrs prior to any visit.
