  • On Holy Island, Anglesey; South Stack Lighthouse 1.5 miles
  • Hot tub, TV and full kitchen; barbecue and private patio area
Anglesey Vacations is a small glamping site overlooking a very pretty stretch of the Welsh coastline and the famous South Stack Lighthouse. Located on Holy Island, Anglesey, this site is a couple of miles to the south of the port of Holyhead, with fantastic views out to sea and easy access to the coastal path. The microlodge has been designed and built to a very high spec indeed, with highlights including a kingsize bed, a large walk-in shower, an open-plan lounge and a full kitchen with a fridge, freezer, dishwater, induction hob and combination microwave. A smart TV, electric blinds and leather sofas are also part of the deal, while outside on the patio there's also a barbecue, garden seating and an indulgent hot tub with dreamy views of the sea… Trearddur Bay and Holyhead town centre are about 10 minutes away by road and between them have amenities including supermarkets, restaurants, buses, ferries and a railway station. The nearest sandy beach, meanwhile, is about a mile away. Anglesey Vacations is pet-friendly, and well-behaved dogs are welcome to come along and join you during your stay.

Liked: We had an amazing stay, the micro lodge has everything you need and more to be honest. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the hosts gave us some great advice on where to walk to, and what routes had some really beautiful views. Really nice and cosy space in the evenings after you’ve been in the hot tub watching the sunset, and great outside space as well. We honestly can’t wait to go back, and have already recommended it to our friends.

Liked: There was nothing that we didn’t love! Stacy and Tom were the perfect hosts, from the welcome basket to the beautiful views it was honestly the most perfect break away. The smallest of details did not go unnoticed, directions if we wanted to order takeout, Wi-Fi, footpath recommendations and general information. The hot tub was perfect, maintained everyday by Stacy, made every evening a relaxing tranquil stay.

Disliked: Nothing
