Liked: Great fun, really chilled site, great facilities. Showers are £2 but are worth the money. Fresh made Pizza Hut at the bottom of the field. 🍕 decent play park for the kids too.
Disliked: The gnats. But the fire scared them off.

Liked: The weather, lots of space
Disliked: Rude owner/restaurant/kitchen staff .. shouted abrubtly from the window to get off the grass then proceeded to say whilst I was in ear shot to the side of window "fu*king kid jumping on the grass" My little boy is 3 with Global developmental delay and No signs to say stay off the grass. Absolute no need of the rudeness. Pretty sure he was having a "Grumpy" day much like how I think they will take this "Grumpy" review! (Loved your toliet notice about reviews .. lovely touch ... not!) So due to the above I'd say its not an inclusive place or child friendly.

From the manager: A guest and their child were seen damaging our beer garden by jumping in puddles, showing a lack of respect for the space. We prioritize creating a child-friendly environment. This behavior is uncommon among our patrons, and we provide decking to protect the grass and maintain the garden's appearance." It's important to clarify that this incident occurred in our beer garden and restaurant, not a camping area, and was unrelated to disabilities. The behavior displayed by the guest and child showed a lack of respect for our space. The issue was not related to disabilities, as evidenced by the father's actions. The claim of swearing has been falsely exaggerated for dramatic effect."
Plenty of clean toilets, BBQ Area, Children's playground, restaurant.

Liked: What a fantastic place! A very peaceful relaxed setting with a lovely restaurant and bar on site. There was also a great children's play area too to keep our 2 young ones entertained. It's a breath of fresh air going to a privately owed campsite which isn't ruined by games machines etc. The owners are very friendly and made our stay very comfortable. Will definitely be returning in the near future to stay T one of the many lodges they have on site.

Liked: Everything. The views are incredible, very relaxed yet safe feeling site. Lovely park for kids. As we are only 20 minutes away this will become our new go to site for a night or 2 away. Owners were very helpful and chatty, good luck with the ultras 👍🏻
Disliked: Sat nav took us up a road that I almost got the camper stuck on. Very rough and rocky. If the sat nav tells you to turn right after the speed bumps don’t, just carry straight up . Not the sites fault, but wanted to warn others 👍🏻

Liked: Arrived on Saturday, located within the amazing Afan forest park picked our pitch overlooking fantastic scenery of Welsh mountains.. a view you simply usually have to travel far and wide for and its on our doorstep. Campsite is kept clean and didn't appear to have any rowdy campers was like a little community. Facilities are good and well maintained...can't wait for our next visit for bar and pizza pod to open. Genna , Rob and staff were all amazing and welcoming and clearly work hard, staying in a cabin in November and will be dining out in one of the domes ... highly recommend this lovely , reasonably priced site ☺️☺️☺️
