A tiny, adults-only glampsite with some truly creatively designed, boho bell tents, Thornbush Glamping sits in lush Pembrokeshire countryside at Camrose, close to Haverfordwest. With no tent to put up, you can just arrive on site, settle in and – hey presto – your glamping break has begun. And what a break it promises to be, near the long sandy beaches and favoured surfing spots of west Wales, and no distance at all from hiking adventures along the scenic Pembrokeshire Coast Path. There’s masses to do, from fishing to sailing and wild swimming – and all within half an hour’s drive. But what’s on site? One massive glamping field for starters, with just a few bell tents spaced out for maximum privacy. The highly individual and romantic bell tents are kitted out with proper double beds, lots of storage and all manner of cute little extras like cosy bean bags, cuddly blankets and quality patterned bed linen. Outside is a private seating area with tables and chairs, and after a busy day exploring west Wales, you can choose to barbecue and eat alfresco, or rustle up a feast in the shared camping kitchen, laid out with all the necessities. Showers, hot water and a washing-up area easily take care of the practicalities.
