Log camping pod

Liked: The pod was great. Warm and comfortable. Staff very friendly and attentive. Narberth town centre in walking distance.

Disliked: The only gripe was the pool was out of action which meant we had to travel to the sister site.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Great generous gravel pitches, with beautiful views. The club house is very smart and the grounds are excellent. Just a ten minute walk into Narbeth. A really good site

Disliked: No pool. Specifically booked because there was a pool. Did not inform before arrival that it was not open. Very annoyed. Staff were miserable and rude

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Lovely campsite .

Disliked: Showers and toilets very dated. A long way to walk from pitch. Not very clean and the shower button had to be held in place just to get wet. They encourage dogs but no dog bins in the camp.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: The food in the restaurant was nice but had limited menu.

Disliked: The ladies toilet facilities were blocked, which we reported to reception. The same happend the following day which is when they closed the toilets. On the third day the gents filets were blocked. Not what we expected for this campsite. The pool was as also closed for repairs.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Open space. Good hand dryers in the toilet.

Disliked: Only 8 toilets in one block (4 gents / 4 ladies) for all the pitches. Toilets constantly blocked due to poor flushing system. Reported and plumber rodded the toilets but still the toilets blocked again. Outdoor swimming pool that was advertised was not in use. However not advised when booking through pitchup. Quite expensive as it cost £40 per night for the pitch

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: The site itself was lovely, the main reception was clean and the club house looked nice. The pitch was flat and hookup and water was close by. Close to Narberth town. Male reception staff very helpful.

Disliked: The toilets and shower block was dated and at times very unclean. For example, toilets blocked and tissue paper on floor, no bin bag in bins. Only one toilet out of 4 in the ladies was useable, the rest were blocked and overflowing with tissue and poop. Walked to club house toilets as they were clean. The showers had dirty items left in them. Clubhouse - menu limited and expensive and did not serve breakfast. Female reception staff member was not helpful about local area. Pool areas advertised on website and welcome pack, but were empty of water and not in use.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: A few parks for the kids. Really clean site. Great toilet / showers. Friendly staff. Very peaceful.

Disliked: Neither pool was in working order this was a big part of why we booked so it would have been good to know in advance. No onsite shop for essentials.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: The site appeared lovely grass areas well maintained. Pub was lovely but extremely expensive food. Close to Narbeth and 20 mins to Tenby and Saundersfoot

Disliked: Pool was closed no mention of this anywhere or after you booked. After a night of torrential rain I called emergency number as no electric. Appeared not to want to help. Following morning the entire toilet blocks toilets were to the brim. Didn't seem to be any rush to resolve. Heck of a walk back and for if down far bottom for toilets. Not somewhere I will sadly visit again with a young family.

Electric gravel touring pitch

Liked: Site gave me a pitch very close to my daughter’s family in one of the pods. Very clean site with good toilets etc.

Disliked: Some additional bins and some dog poo bins down the bottom of the site would be helpful

Local attractions

A short walk from the park, the friendly little town of Narberth is lined with attractive cottages and shops and has plenty to offer visitors for a day or evening out. Mooch around the stylish boutiques and antique shops; take home treats from The Welsh Farmhouse Company, then stop in at one of the town’s pubs or cafés. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is a short drive away. The 240 square miles here capture where ocean meets land: take to the waves on your surfboard, don your walking boots for hiking or take to a bike and follow the cycle routes. Educate and entertain the children at Folly Farm, 10 minutes' drive south of the park. Carry on southward for Manor House Wildlife Park and slightly further still for Heatherton World of Activities. Get onto the A40 a third of a mile from Noble Court for easy access to all the area’s main attractions to the west and south-west. As well as Oakwood, Clerkenhill Adventure Farm and Wild Lakes are within 10 minutes. Half an hour south west lies Pembroke Castle, the birthplace of Henry VII.
