Take your wheels to bed down at this quiet Chilean site, close to the popular seaside resort, windsports, wildlife and five kilometres of white sands of Pichidangui in Choapa Province – and with direct access to a sandy beach a short stroll from the site pitches. And speaking of which... the Bed and Wheels are rightly well equipped for Chillean beach hols, as along with hook-up, water and drainage they each come with a beach parasol for shady snoozes, and a picnic table for alfresco eats. To get active nearby, a watersports leisure centre for all sorts of sports as well as windsurfing equipment hire, is within walking distance. Diving excursions into the local clear waters can be booked in town. Also on site are a pool, a playground and wifi.

Local attractions

The seaside resort of Pichidangui, overlooking a spectacularly beaut bay, has over five kilometres of white sandy beaches and is a popular spot for windsurfing because of its good gusts. Hire kit, launch your own boat or go sailing via the town's nautical leisure centre. Pichidangui's local commune of Los Vilos is a coastal city famed for its fishing and its two beaches La Principal and Las Conchas, other local spots made up of fine white sands. Also worth a look are the commune's other, smaller, settlements of Caimans, Guangualí and the tiny villages of Los Cóndores and Infiernillo. When you're ready to move on from the seaside, Chilean capital Santiago is just under 200 kilometres from Bed and Wheels.
