A BEAUTIFUL COTTAGE WITH SPACE FOR EVERYTHING. Hiking cabin without toilet – a simple but lovely cabin fully equipped to accommodate a family of 4 for a lovely cabin holiday. The cabin is equipped with a table, chairs, double bunk bed, fridge, electric hob, sink with cold water and various crockery for 4 people. There is also a covered terrace with table and chairs – perfect for a cozy barbecue evening. The cottage is close to the playground, so the children can easily find their way back and forth, all the while the adults have fun on the terrace. Price: from DKK 450 per night incl. water and wi-fi plus access to open-air bath(only in high season). It is also possible to purchase additional cleaning after the end of your stay, if you do not want to be responsible for this yourself.

Please bring your own towels.

Local attractions

Camping Jelling is within 15 minutes' walk of Jelling village and 14 kilometres from the lively cultural centre of Vejle. LEGOLAND, Givskud Zoo and Lalandia waterpark are all within 25 kilometres, to keep you amused in your first week or so. Hiking and cycling trails surround the site, leading further afield to the hills of Vork, the moorlands of Randbøl and the woodlands of Frederikshåb. The diverse landscape of springs, woodlands and open meadows around Fårup Lake is around three kilometres away for boating and fishing. Another fab day out can be had 14 kilometres away at Vejle, a lively cultural city surrounded by forested hills. It's most known for its clifftop mill, the Vejle Museum of Art with the Wörzner collection and works by Rembrandt, and the 13th-century St. Nicolai Church, exhibiting the Haraldskær bog woman, a preserved body from the Iron Age. Closer to home, it's a short walk from the site to the Jelling Vikingmuseum, telling the tale of the village's past as a Viking royal capital. Jelling's archaeological remains are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and include a stone ship, two big burial mounds and the 10th-century Jelling Stones.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Extras

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Entertainment and activities are available between 01/07 and 30/08.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 8 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The restaurant is open between 01/04 and 30/08.

Reception

Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. between 01/04 and 31/10.
Reception is unmanned after 8 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
Open fires are prohibited.

Taxes

Vehicles

Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
