Liked: The pool and the Restaurant were great. Pitch was a good size with friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: The shower cubicles are very tight. Could hardly move in there. The toilet block was looking a bit tired, could do with a refurb, but clean .

Liked: De infrastructuur van het zwembad (glijbaan) voor de kinderen. De douches waren qua hygiëne goed.

Disliked: het feit dat er wagens reden door de camping. Ik verkies van je te installeren en de auto verplicht naar een parking buiten het terrein te brengen zodat de kinderen zich zorgeloos op het kampeerterrein kunnen verplaatsen. Toiletten mochten iets properder.

Liked: Booking and arriving were easy. The facilities were clean, they were sufficient, and the showers were cold & hot. The pizza the children had was one of the best they've had! The pool was a good size, and the pool entertainments were fun. Morning bread & croissants.

Disliked: The pitch was a little small. It was a bit loud until quite late in the night (not a big deal).

Local attractions

This is a spectacularly set site, close to the golden sands of Vias Plage and right next to the Canal du Midi for fishing and canalside bike rides and walks. Watersports including paddleboarding and waterskiing are available in Vias Plage, along with horse riding, miniature golf, go-karting and the Europark theme park: see if your nerves can withstand the extreme rides and looping rollercoaster. At Cap d'Agde five kilometres away, you can dive into more watersports with a spot of snorkelling and scuba diving; tee off at the 18-hole golf course, or splash around the Aqualand waterpark, Europe's first. Animal-spotting options can be had at the Val d'Hérault Zoo in St Thibéry, 20 kilometres away, and at the African Reserve animal park, Sigean, a 25-kilometre drive from the site. The Mare Nostrum aquarium in Montpellier is 30 kilometres away. For some spectacular natural scenery, the Gorges de l'Hérault are within 45 kilometres.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

A valid vaccination certificate must accompany your dog.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
The site does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

Extras

Motorbike(s) can be brought instead of the car(s) included.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Entertainment and activities are available between 05/04 and 29/09.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Please note that the toilet/shower facilities are unisex.
Quiet hours must be respected between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.
The bar is open between 05/04 and 29/09.
The grocery shop is open between 05/04 and 29/09.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €200.00 (£174.33) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
No naked flames are allowed inside the hired accommodation units.

Occupancy

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Pitches

Pitches: a €10.00 (£8.72) deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure when returning the gate badge/barrier pass/toilet keys.
You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Swimsuits are obligatory and swimming shorts or Bermuda shorts are not permitted.
The indoor swimming pool is open between 05/04 and 29/09.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 05/04 and 29/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. between 01/07 and 31/08.
Reception is open from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. between 05/04 - 30/06 and 01/09 - 29/09.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.
Firearms are not permitted.
No electric barbecues allowed.
Open fires are prohibited.

Vehicles

No vehicle movement between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m..
Only one car is to be parked by the pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the designated area.
The car is only included in the rate if you are travelling with a touring caravan or a tent. If you wish to bring a car along with your motorhome/campervan please select the extra.
Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.

Visitors

Visitors’ cars are not permitted on site.
Visitors must register at reception and pay their fee.
