A quiet and family-friendly campsite
Next to the river and at the foot of castle ruins

Welcome to Camping de Retourtour, in the Doux valley, a kilometre from the centre of Lamastre and close to the Parc des Monts d’Ardèche. The site is in a spectacular green setting at the foot of the ruins of a castle. It has a family atmosphere and is quiet and comfortable with excellent facilities. There are large playgrounds, a multisports ground for volleyball, basketball, football and badminton, ping pong tables, miniature golf, a fitness room, a library, and bicycle and electric bike rental. A varied entertainment programme runs in July and August, with a kids' club, adult concerts, evening meals and daily activities.

De Retourtour is next to the Doux river and there is a water-based recreation centre 100 metres away, supervised from mid-June to mid-September. You can use it for swimming, to bask on its sunny beaches or lie on the grass in the shade of the willow trees. For walking, hiking and cycling, there are over 750 kilometres of trails in the region. Suggestions include the Lamastre-Retourtour-Désaignes trail; the Monteil loop and the Retourtour - Tour de Monteil trail.
