Liked: Staff where pleasant.

Disliked: Site was generally dirty. Showers and toilets had not been cleaned during my 3 nights stay. Access roads and paths where muddy and uneven. In need of a lot of TLC or a refurbish.

Liked: This is a large and interesting mix of motorhome and summer house lodge pitches. We had a luxury 20 Amp pitch which was comfortable and quiet. The site is 2 miles from the station to Pizza, or the lovely Lucca. It a good walk. You can drive up that way and park easily. The central bar offers the most welcoming reception of Mr Rocco. Good beer, and wow can these guys cook fabulous Tuscany food! Fab seafood or just a pizza! The evening restaurant is a food must. Trains to Pisa are frequent and excellent. Really easy system to navigate, but please don't miss out Lucca!

Disliked: This is a very elongated site - 900m from our pitch to the central bar, and around 1500m to the the private beach! That's okay unless you have been out all day walking round Pizza or Lucca. Best advice is to book a pitch which is specifically near the centre. The internet worked very well at the centre area, but was poor in the camping area near Reception.

Liked: Großer, aber trotzdem gemütlicher und ruhiger Platz, ebener Stellplatz 50 m vom Strand entfernt, sehr netter Empfang, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, in der Bar leckere Croissants für das Frühstück auch außer Haus

Liked: Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, egal ob Rezeption oder die zuständigen Mitarbeiter für den Platz!! Schöner Platz am Pinienwald, direkt am Mittelmeer, unmittelbar vom Campingplatz kann man an den Strand.

Liked: Loved the tranquility of the site , everything there that you need. Staff are great. Lovely walks from site through the forest to the beach and along to a lovely marina . The town was quiet but it was December , but enough open to keep you going . Great pitches with undercover shade on them too if required

The beach and on-site activities may well fill much of your time here, but it's worth making the effort to get out and about if you can – even just for a walk through the nearby forests or a bike ride along the coast. Other outing options nearby include family-friendly attractions like the wave pool and waterslides of Acqua Village Cecina (25 minutes' walk) or the treetop trails of Il Giardino Sospeso (10 minutes' drive). There’s also a chance to meet exotic animals at Parco Gallorose (10 minutes) or experience various thrill rides at CavallinoMatto theme park (20 minutes). And if you fancy seeing a bit of Tuscan history and culture, that’s easily done too – both Pisa and Volterra are less than an hour's drive away, and it will take you around an hour and a half to drive to Florence.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.
No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
Please pick any available pitch on arrival.
The site will send you further check-in information 7 day(s) before your arrival.
Units will be allocated on arrival.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed during high season between 15/06 and 25/08.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.
Guide dogs are allowed on site free of charge.

Extras

Entertainment passes are included in the rate.

General

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.
Entertainment and activities are available between 20/06 and 03/09.
In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.
Quiet hours must be respected between 12 a.m. and 7 a.m..
The bar is open between 01/04 and 31/10.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The restaurant is open between 01/04 and 31/10.

Pitches

A cable measuring at least 25 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Some facilities require the wearing of swim caps.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 01/06 and 15/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
Reception is open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. between 10/09 and 10/06.
Reception is unmanned after 6 p.m.. Please inform the site while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time, so that the team can provide information about your unit/pitch.
