Gentlemen and ladies visiting the Verona region: amuse yourselves with a stay a few steps' away from Italy's biggest lake at . Based minutes away from both Bardolino and Lazise, the site has direct access to a small private beach and to the eastern shore of Lake Garda, a place so popular that around 7% of all visitors to Italy flow here throughout the year. It has modern facilities including ten – si, ten – amenities blocks (no queueing for loos or showers here, ta very much) all accessible to disabled guests; laundry corners with washing machines and tumble dryers, family-friendly rooms and two motorhome service points available for free use. Eats and drinks are easily had at the site restaurant and bar, and the shop stocks everything you might need including fruit and veg, drinks and camping essentials. The helpful team on reception can help with booking local activities and buying tickets for museums and theme parks: don't fret if you're low on euros as an ATM is here too. A site warden is available to assist with queries when reception is closed. The team also organises events in high season, such as sports tournaments, music nights and a kids' club.

Local attractions

The direct access from to the beach and Lake Garda should keep you busy for quite some days (it sure would us), and when you're ready to investigate the surrounding area, both Lazise and Bardolino can be accessed by the new walking and cycling path running alongside the lake. Romantic evening lakeside strolls? You're in the Verona region after all... Within a few hours' drive are the topping Italian destinations of Venice, Verona, Treviso and Padua, all filled with ancient sites and museums, fab restaurants and a topping amount of shopping: take a tip from us and go to this area with your suitcase half empty. Another topping attraction, Italy's biggest theme park Gardaland, is within a short drive.
