Liked: Facilities are absolutely immaculate and very well laid out. Staff on site couldn’t be nicer. Perfect for walking or cycling into Delf to explore or cycle to The Hague.

Disliked: Take your own toilet paper as theirs is rough lol....somehow ran out of WiFi on day 2...couldn't get more

Liked: Shower and toilet facilities are the best I've seen. Brand new laundry. Reception like a hotel with well stocked shop and fresh coffee.

Disliked: Pitches a bit worn but they are being reseeded.

Liked: Easy walk to town Quiet site although near roads, IKEA etc Access to Rotterdam (other places) via public transport Close to countryside and cycle paths Close to arboretum and city zoo Pool Friendly helpful staff Clean facilities

Disliked: Sat Nav directions which led to bus lane only from the A13 Close to other pitch with (large) dog roaming freely Men and women sharing the same open plan sanitary block (but not the actual toilets or showers) was a bit unnerving

Local attractions

The old city of Delft is best known for its fine blue pottery, a trade dating back in this part of South Holland to the mid-16th century (if you want to acquire your own anywhere in the world, check for the Delfts Blauw or Delft Blue name painted on the bottom of ceramic pieces). The city's streets and canal banks also house plenty of other attractions to see, including the Vermeer Centre, the Science Centre and the historic almshouses. Hire a bike on site to pedal around one or more of the several cycle paths in the area, such as to the farming villages of the Green Heart region; the old church in the village of 't Woudt; the towns of Pijnacker-Nootdorp or Zoetermeer; along the Vliet Canal to The Hague; or along the Schie river towards Rotterdam. Stick around close to the site for a day at the nature and recreation area next door, where there's a petting zoo, water playground and a beach next to the big recreational lake for dips, fishing and sailing. Within day trip distance is another beach at Scheveningen (25 minutes' drive), the models of Madurodam miniature city (20 minutes), the UNESCO-listed site of the Kinderdijk windmills (45 minutes) and the tasty treats of the Gouda Cheese Museum, 35 minutes away; be sure to amble around the famed cheese market of this last too.

Booking terms and conditions

Admission

All guests spending the night at the park must present their ID at the reception desk and sign registration forms.
At least one of the party members must be aged 25 or over.
Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Arrivals and departures

No refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.

Dogs

Dogs are not allowed if you are staying in the accommodation units.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Extras

Facilities/activities including bike hire, go-carts hire are subject to extra charges payable on arrival.

General

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.
Quiet hours must be respected between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m..
The grocery shop is open between 25/03 and 31/10.
The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
The restaurant is open between 25/03 and 01/10.

Hired accommodation

Hired accommodation: €100.00 (£87.15) damage/cleanliness/bracelet deposit is required on arrival and will be refunded on departure after inspection of your unit should no damage/losses be found.
Your unit must be left clean and tidy; a fine of €75.00 (£65.77) will be charged for unclean units upon departure.

Occupancy

No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
The site caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.

Pitches

You must follow the management directives when pitching your tent/unit and related equipment.

Pool

Only park guests are authorised to use the pool.
Please note there is no lifeguard on duty.
The outdoor swimming pool is open between 15/05 and 15/09 (subject to weather conditions).

Reception

Reception is open from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. between 25/03 - 01/07 and 26/08 - 31/10.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Twin axle vehicles are not permitted on site.
Units longer than 8 metres are not allowed.
