Positiv: Great location lovely owners. Great seniary. Shower available. Toilets clean. For 1st time wild camping we found it really good. Walks close by. Restaurants a walk away. Food and refreshments available in shop on site . Enjoy the stay

Positiv: The view was beautiful. Farm shop was well stocked and child friendly. Lovely animals. Plenty of space. Two permanent toilets were satisfactory.

Negativ: Noise at night. Other campers all playing music way too loud and way too late. Portable toilets we disgusting.

Positiv: We can't think of anything to complain about. The pitch was the perfect location and exactly how it looked on photos. The farm shop had everything you would've needed as a young couple coming away for a few nights and the staff were excellent. For our first trip away in our tent we couldn't have wished for a better site. 10/10.

Negativ: Turned up to. Very very muddy pitch too muddy to get on. Had to be pushed out my By fellow campers and we're unable to stay on site at all. Couldn't find anyone on site who ran / worked there. Had to find somewhere else to stay

Vom Platzbetreiber: Thank you for your review - apologies for the noisy group, as stated on the last review we limit the party numbers booking but they can still all meet on separate bookings - we do have ground rules and as already stated I am a phone call away to sort out if needs be, as a rule we have a well behaved, respectful campsite

Positiv: Polite lady on shop reception. Location/view.

Negativ: Noise, noise, noise. Bank holiday weekend so I guess it was busier than usual but in my opinion, just too many groups of people there just to get pi**ed up, play music till late and generally not give a sh*t about others on the site. Usually campsites operate a rule of keep noise to a minimum after a certain time but not here unfortunately. Toilets/facilities are bare bones basic too.

Vom Platzbetreiber: Thank you for your review, comments noted - we do operate a quiet time with it being a family campsite, we state quiet time after 11pm, I'm sorry you experienced a noisy group, we have a limit on people booking in one group but it doesn't stop them making multiple bookings and meeting up, my phone is always on in case of any disturbance for me & my husband to come and sort & we would have done if notified - we do only state on our site info that we are a back to basics campsite which you have stated which also reflects on the prices given - our facilities are basic, but clean

Positiv: Good location. Nice little farm shop on site with friendly staff. A nice pond to look at and if anyone is in to fishing.

Negativ: Poor quality toilets that didn’t flush and often backed up with old waste. Can’t show unless willing to pay £2.50 per person per shower: You can tell it is cheap per night as the clientele were of a lower standard with no morales or care for other guests. Very boggy pitches. Grass needed cutting. Couldn’t get cars on to grass and therefore packing and unpacking was a much longer and strenuous task.
