  • Right on the lake. A sunny clearing. Protected by forest.
Without superlatives. No ifs and buts. Nicer than in the catalogue. Right on the lake. A sunny clearing. Protected by forest. Intoxicatingly calm. Warmly cared for. Just beautiful. Naturally beautiful. Our favorite place. your vacation. The nature park camping Prinzenholz is located in the heart of Holstein Switzerland at the gates of Eutin. Small, fine and personal, it is a wonderful spot for permanent guests or a weekend away from everyday life. Peace seekers, nature lovers, active vacationers, families, dog lovers or just those who are just discovering their love for camping - they all feel after just one night: We have discovered a treasure! With beach, charm and adventure In addition to tent and pitches, there are cozy camping barrels and pods made of pine wood and two fairytale glamping tents. Parents relax in the sauna while the kids conquer the playground, beach volleyball and soccer field. Fresh rolls smell in the kiosk. The large and child-friendly sanitary facilities are newly renovated. Since Prinzenholz is committed to sustainability, service water is heated with solar energy, a photovoltaic system generates a large proportion of the electricity consumption and a modern ventilation system with heat recovery is installed in the wash house. The site has its own 25 meter wide sandy bay with a sunbathing area directly on the Kellersee. From April to October people chill and splash about here - Mediterranean feeling included. Behind it, the well-tended grounds stretch up the slope in terraces, idyllically divided by bushes and hedges. The adjacent forest invites you to endless walks. ctive holidays in Holstein Switzerland Those who don't just want to enjoy the natural scenery and the personal atmosphere on the campsite will be happy about good WiFi and a wide range of activities: There are hikes and bike tours available from the Prinzenholz. The routes range from 5km for families to extended day tours over 60km. Dog owners can take part in special SUP padeling with the dogs or adventure tours. And geocaching is adventurous – the modern version of the scavenger hunt. If you want even more sport and action: Holstein Switzerland, with its countless lakes and nature parks, is a paradise for "holiday activists". The Kellersee is an Eldorado for sailors and surfers. SUP rowing boats and canoes also sway at the pier. Eutin is also located directly on a well-developed network of water hiking trails, which leads over 60km to the Kiel Fjords. Golf fans can book a taster course for Gut Waldshagen directly at reception. Gourmets can feast on the partner restaurant directly in Eutin. Tip for horse lovers: Right next to Prinzenholz there is a riding stable that offers rides and lessons on the square. Horses you have brought with you can also be kept. Gut Rothensande, the legendary "Immenhof", is only a few kilometers away.

The people want what happens..! Lazing around and relaxing is free with us. But with our nature and sports program it gets really colorful - and your vacation day becomes an event. Then in the evening you can sit at the grill with a clear conscience and look contentedly over the lake. Paddle! Traveling by canoe and SUP ... just paddle directly from the shore into another world! With canoes and SUPs you get a big step closer to our dreamlike area. Because completely new perspectives open up from the water. Set sail... with the canoe Whether as a soloist on an adventure through lakes and canals. Or once again very romantic for two. Or with your four-legged friend: Canada feeling on the Kellersee. Pack a picnic and something sparkling and paddle from bay to bay - or straight to the nearest lake restaurant for a sundowner. Cooling included. At our Keusen rental shop , with whom we work, there are SUPs, as well as boats and water hiking maps with all (insider) tips. Reserve in advance! with the SUP canoe is "old school", surfing only for "freaks"? Then just take the SUP! Even if it gets a bit shaky at the beginning... You can add SUPs directly to your online booking or rent them at the reception. With stand up paddling - SUP for short - you stand with your paddle on a surfboard and glide through the water. At the same time you do a full body workout for balance and deep muscles. Sounds great? "Paddling also burns up to 40% more calories than walking," says Janni. Our trainer offers beginner courses directly on the site - for young wild ones and tough water rats. Pure fitness meets nature... ... and even your own four-legged friend can go on the SUP. Janni, a dog lover and owner herself, shows how paddling can be fun for you and your darling together. And you share a beastly casual experience! Training and courses (including SUP with a dog!) can be booked directly here at Taffe Tölen. SURVIVE! Our survival training (with dog) Off into the undergrowth - the big adventure is waiting right behind the reception... How do I orientate myself using the sun, moon and moss? Which herbs heal, which are edible? How do I build a shelter? For real nature lovers and courageous camper girls, our Janni (from April) offers real survival training. Of course with a dog. You hike (approx. 3 km) through the forest together with a tough survival trainer, who has already prepared Joey Kelly for his survival tours. You are looking for wild animals, drinkable water for dog and owner - and then you are fit for the Amazon, Sahara and the Wild West... BITE! With the fishing rod in the camper Whether surf and deep-sea fishing on a cutter or with a rod and trap along the waters in Holstein Switzerland: the area is a fishing paradise. Visitors from all over Germany travel to the north especially for this. The crystal-clear water and the high oxygen content of the inland lakes bring a particular abundance of fish. Bait the boat for eels, perch, bream, pike and zander. Maybe a silver or whitefish will bite – the rare lake dwellers were settled here in the 17th century by the Cistercian monks around Malente. Fishing permits are available at reception (don't forget your fishing license!) PUNCH IN! Ratz-Fatz on the square Camping and golf? Really now? Yes totally! Down with the high nose, bring on the wood. Because we love everything that has to do with fresh air. On the Gut Waldshagen facility, less than 10 minutes from the campsite, you can now swing your clubs. Whether as a beginner in the taster course or with a handicap over all holes - and you can leave your color folds at home... CRACK OPEN! The kick on the beach court Only when it's crunching between your teeth have you given it your all... kicking or smashing - with grains between your toes. Football, volleyball and badminton await undiscovered talents on our sand court (next to the children's playground). Throw yourself into the Baltic Sea beach sand and show everyone who is the real sports ace in the family. You can borrow balls and other things at the reception! ROLL! On tour by bike or e-bike The breeze in your nose, your eyes on the path. If you haven't explored Holstein Switzerland, our beautiful homeland, you've never really been here. So grab your bike and e-bike, walking sticks or hiking boots - and discover lakes, hills, forests, castles and picturesque villages on one of the countless day tours. From five to 60 kilometers - we'll show you how to get to the most beautiful destinations. And back as best as possible 😉 You can book a bike with us right here: RISING UP! Riding on pony or horse Feel like "Bibi and Tina", Winnetou - or a real musketeer. At the Fissau riding stables, the horses are already pawing their hooves. Beginners and advanced can take lessons here or simply trot through the forest on a guided tour. If you squeeze your own pony or horse into the camper, there are rental pitches for your darling in the yard DIVE IN! ... on the Baltic Sea & Co It's 15 kilometers to Plön, 25 to Scharbeutz and 40 to Brazil... here in Ostholstein, the path to the nearest shore is always just a stone's throw away. Let's go! Snuggle up in a beach chair with the Nogger, build the largest castle on the bay – or take it sporty: swimming, surfing or sailing. Water skiing, pedal boats or rowing. Or even kiting? After the short jaunt through meadows and fields, the full coastal program awaits you. And we are happy to show you where you like it best. Sensing creative course in nature ... no witchcraft what our Martina from the nature workshop does with you on her tours. Environmental education - pure and without filters. Carving bows, kneading soap, making paints or collecting herbs - together we discover the elements with all our senses. Simply magical!
