Μου άρεσε: Only a couple of miles from Bude.

Δεν μου άρεσε: No one on site when I arrived despite reception supposed to be open. I had to ring 2 phone numbers. Eventually spoke to a man who was quite short with me and said he wasn’t on site. Didn’t apologise. Eventually a sleepy woman came out to me. No apology, spoke in broken English and waved me up a track in the general direction of where to park up. Didn’t explain anything, no paperwork given or welcome pack or tell me anything about the area etc. half the toilets were out of order and you needed your own loo roll. Nothing to do on site.

Μου άρεσε: Was a lovely position, a nice wall to Bude. Farm animals. Owner very friendly.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Bathroom was never cleaned. In high season. There would not be enough facilities.

Δεν μου άρεσε: There was no toilet paper in toilets. The paint was flaking off the wall in the toilet, so you got covered in it. The door was very warped and didn’t close properly, and there was a dirty soaking wet bath mat folded on the floor. Very poor indeed. Also, there is only one toilet, so if someone is showering you will have a wait. The only facility to wash dishes was a good walk away, not under cover and no hot water.

Μου άρεσε: Wi-Fi quite good but that’s about it. In fairness we did visit in February, however if they take bookings they should at least clean toilets and have hard stand available when as was when we stayed all grass pitches water logged.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Very dirty toilet bocks, couldn’t get to fresh water tap as grass around it water logged, Road noise from the Bude boy racers club. Only saw 1 member of staff only on arrival just said don’t park on grass and have we paid!!

Μου άρεσε: Friendliness of staff. Location about 45 mins walk from Bude.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Put in car park as pitches flooded, this was very unlevel. Bathroom has very dirty with no hand soap.

Μου άρεσε: Friendly welcome from staff. Lovely view. Rainy February weekend so we were put on the carpark with 4 other vans which was fine by us - happy not to get stuck in the mud!

Δεν μου άρεσε: Facilities were dirty. We’re not that fussy but everything needed a really good clean.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Very muddy in February, not really suitable for a campervan on the grass. Toilets were not the best, they are fairly basic

Μου άρεσε: The friendly staff and animals. Nothing else.

Δεν μου άρεσε: This site is not geared up to be open all year round!!. When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly gardner who took us to where we were going to be. This ended up being just a road that lead to the pitches and not an actual pitch!!. No information was given about the site or the facilities. This made it very difficult to level our caravan due to the sloping of the field. We were just lucky that our electrical lead was long enough to reach our van and we didn't have to use any of their facilities as they were not the nicest. As for the chemical waste disposal that is a health and safety hazard and considering it was mid winter the smell was horrendous!!. The owner lacked any kind of people skills and was more worried about us tearing up his grass. Considering he knew we had booked a grass pitch why did he except the booking Knowing how wet his ground was. It just felt like he wanted the money and nothing else. We would not return or recommend this site to anyone.
