Μου άρεσε: Lovely clean site, very family friendly. Pool v good.

Δεν μου άρεσε: No hot water. Pitches very wet and motorhome digging in. Takeaway was overpriced and really poor quality. No changing room or lockers at pool.

Μου άρεσε: Pool, bar area, kids playground, bouncy castle areas. Great softplay the day it rained within 20mins. Beach a ten min drive.

Μου άρεσε: Great setting, beautiful surroundings. Swimming pool and slides were a massive hit with our 5yr old. Good play park and small games room. Staff friendly and helpful.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Weren't allowed to wear normal swim shorts (beach style) had to pay 25 euros for tight fitting ones. Restaurant menu very limited and a little pricey.

Μου άρεσε: Our pitch was excellent and set in lovely grounds. The shower/toilet facilities were excellent and the leisure facilities were the best I'd visited. The weather wasn't great so the indoor pool and flumes were brilliant.

Δεν μου άρεσε: The fact there was no restaurant. I was hoping t sit down for a decent meal however there was only takeaway facilities with the option to sit outside or in a limited bar area with the takeaway food. It would have been good if there was a dedicated adults area in the bar and outside. Whilst I don't mind families and children, seating areas were quickly taken up inside and out. Often the chairs were taken but had no occupants (only bags and coats) as children were playing having reserved a seat. Even though there were plenty of couples only on site, rarely were they present in the bar area.

Staying at the Château de Lez-Eaux campsite means camping in a 12-hectare wooded park where pitches and mobile homes have found their place. As you say, the weather is not always sunny, but don't panic, the covered and heated water park with its slides will allow you to enjoy the joys of swimming whatever the weather. As far as catering is concerned, this is an area for improvement and we are working on it. We look forward to welcoming you back to Normandy. The Castel camping château de Lez-Eaux team

Μου άρεσε: Lovely site with lots to offer, fishing, bike hire, restaurant, shop, swimming pool. Our children are older so can’t comment on kids club/activities or play park but the kids we saw seemed to be having a great time. Staff really friendly and helpful We used the site more of a base to explore Normandy but had a couple of days on site. Would definitely return if we go to the area again.

Δεν μου άρεσε: Only let down was no hot water at one of the shower blocks nearest to our pitch but there was another one close by.

Μου άρεσε: Friendly Staff Easy Check-In

Δεν μου άρεσε: Bit Noisy for our liking, but it was a site aimed at families with younger children. Noise Curfew at 10pm mostly adhered to. Behavior of campers not the fault of the site.

Μου άρεσε: Lovely campsite with excellent facilities and a full schedule. So much for my children to do. Water park was brilliant with something for all ages. Staff were helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely be back! My children loved the staff at the children’s club who were all so lovely and friendly and they thought the pony rides were fab. We could easily have stayed at the campsite without travelling off and we wouldn’t have been bored. Great location for local towns, beaches, markets, supermarket etc.
