Camping Le Rochat Belle-Isle

Δεν μου άρεσε: If I could give 0 stars, I would. This campsite is a con - do not go here. They will take your money and not provide what they've said they will. We drove from England to this site, and paid in full on Pitchup. We arrived to a flooded site. They offered us a temporary space (on the road) until it dried out. However the site was supposed to flood that night, too, so chances are we’d be in the temporary space for a while. We couldn’t erect our awning & this wasn’t what we paid for, and wanted to leave the next day. They said we’d have to get a refund through PitchUp. We visited the bathroom, and realised this place was a total sham. The toilets were disgusting, absolutely revolting, and there was no loo roll. Muddy floors, bucket with brushes in them with black water for cleaning the showers, incredibly disgusting. We decided to leave, and saw on Pitchup we needed to get the refund directly from the site. We asked for this, they refused, and said it was their policy. My partner asked to speak to the boss on the phone, and he pretended he couldn’t speak English. Complete coward. After being lied to multiple times, with disgusting facilities, and unavailable booking, we raised a fraud charge with the bank which was honoured. We hated this place so much we left that evening, having driven over 8 hours from England at Easter. That should tell you how poor this place really is. We couldn't stand to even spend one night there. I couldn’t recommend this site to my worst enemy. Do not go here!!

Από τον διαχειριστή: Bonjour, le camping à subi une inondation je vous est donc proposé un emplacement alternatif (pas sur de l'herbe) pour une nuit ou deux maximum, vous n'avez pas accepté alors que vous aviez une réservation d'une semaine, vous pouviez malgré tout profiter du parc, des transports gratuits, de la piscine balsan'eo, de faire des promenades dans la région... je suppose que vous n'aviez pas prévu de passer une semaine enfermé dans votre caravane !!! alors réfléchissez donc un peut a l’énergie que vous perdez a écrire un commentaire aussi long pour ne rien dire, vous notez la situation du camping, les installations, les services annexes, la propreté ou le wifi au plus bas alors que vous ne les avez pas utilisés.

Μου άρεσε: Lovely well appointed pitches, large and hedges between them. Wonderful village and great walks. Highly recommended.

Δεν μου άρεσε: I did not like the sharing bathrooms I prefer if men’s and ladies are separated as I felt unsafe as I was a woman alone in a bathroom with two men I was very uncomfortable 😣 The bathrooms were not very clean

Μου άρεσε: Really friendly, clean and plentiful toilets and showers, lots of on site activities for children of all ages. Next to a lake with more activities. Bonus marks for lovely campsite dog.

Μου άρεσε: We had an incredible family getaway at this campsite! The location was perfect, nestled near a picturesque park with a serene lake where we enjoyed renting boats and pedal boats. The spacious pitches accommodated our family comfortably. The top-notch facilities, particularly the showers, made our stay even more enjoyable. The friendly staff added a welcoming touch, ensuring we had everything we needed. Our kids had a blast at the onsite playgrounds, and the expansive play area in the nearby park was a huge hit too. The wifi was reliable, although accessible mainly around the reception area. Overall, a fantastic experience that catered to both relaxation and family fun.
