Liked: a large area but several camping locations which were uncrowded and well spaced out. Nice to see groups and raised firepits who respected the 11pm noise curfew. A mobile number was provided for the night warden. Lots of organised activities for teens (in my opinion). Loved the fact that they accepted a one night booking for a bank holiday weekend.
Disliked: I wish i could have found some recycling bins.

Power optional grass site (large, no pets)
Liked: Lots for the children to have a go at.. things they'd not usually get chance to try! Massive pitches with plenty of room and not too strict on where your tent goes.. we travelled with another family and pitched nice abs close to each other!
Disliked: Shower blocks needed checking and cleaning more regularly. The showers were full of grass all over the floor and wet through so I had to keep my flip flops on and it was tricky trying to get dressed into dry clothes! Other camp sites I've been to had mop type things left in there so wen you had a shower you could sweep away the water and leave it clean for the next person but there was nothing. Also most times I used the toilet there was no loo roll left.

Unpowered grass site (pet friendly)
Liked: Quiet location
Disliked: Lack of bins near field Lack of showers near field Lack of wash up area near field Every thing apart from water a long walk. Some activities not available. A mile walk to lake just to be told trainers only. No other footwear allowed. For a big site I was surprised how sparse facilities were and how small shop was for any essentials that may have been forgotten.

Power optional grass site (large, no pets)
Liked: Good sized pitches with plenty of space around for the kids to run around and play.
Disliked: 6amp electric...tripped constantlywoth just a cool box and had to be replaced. Toilet blocks quite a walk..and dirty/smelly. Extra cost for activities. For £179 for the long weekend, I expected more in comparison to other sites. Needs a bit of money investing to update the toilet and showers and the power supply
