Disliked: The pitches are very close together, not much room inbetween. On website it stated entertainment on at night however there was none on at all.

Liked: Nice place, friendly people. Close to Alton towers. Kids enjoyed the park. Nice pub.

Disliked: The toilets and showers are lacking. There’s only 3 for the whole site. Not the best and the washing up area Wasn’t great. It’s on a busy road so wouldn’t be great if you are a light sleeper.

Unpowered grass tent site

Liked: Landlord very helpful, allowed us to check out late, offered us earplugs as we were pitched on a field near the roadside, and sorted an issue with noisy neighbours for us immediately. Great for kids with the park on site. Food is lovely at the pub!

Disliked: The only 2 improvements we would suggest is a having a little shop onsite with essentials, and not having people pitch up so close together, our ropes were overlapping and we could hear neighbours snoring
