Liked: Great facilities, very clean and well lit of an evening. Helpful hosts as we were running late. The views were really lovely too!
Disliked: Beware the ground is not level (on most pitches) but this didn’t bother us we had a great stay in our tent!

Liked: This has to be one of the cleanest campsites and well looked after! The showers were really warm and good! Despite the dark, everywhere was easy to find! Plenty of bins around the site to keep it clean Clean and tidy! Loved the check in procedure! Turn up, Pitch the tent, send a text with plot number and good to go!
Disliked: Only negative, the stone drive upto the campsite, few rocks could potentially cause damage to cars.

Liked: What can we say this was a none electric site and was a bit unsure. But my goodness went with family and the site was clean threw out the was facilities: showers toilets and cleaning where top standard. Owners around each day making sure everything was ok . I could not recommend this site enough have a lot around you to do also on site activities. It’s great to show the kids we don’t need tv or phones or iPad game console. Just great quality time at a great site , which we will definitely be returning to 5 star
Disliked: Nothing to dislike at all

Liked: Lovely site, clean well maintained facilities. Staff were super helpful giving advice on local amenities and places to visit. Supermarket within 10mins. Few nice walks from the site or more challenging walks a short drive into the Lake District.
Disliked: Nothing really, Only thing we could think of was that a small selection of pitches are not level

Liked: Clean facilities, views (wow) big pitches 10x 10 marked out. Close to M6 for easy nipping in for a night before going on further.
Disliked: Slight slop on 20% of pitches but wheel wedges sort this.

Liked: Great views. Really nice pitches.
Disliked: Sadly the local farmer worked until midnight so the “quiet after 10pm” didn’t apply. It was extremely loud.

Liked: Quiet site, basic with everything you need - showers, toilets, washing facilities, fresh water. 2nd time visiting in the last 9 months, there have been some noticeable improvements to the site - pond filled in, plots with hard standing as well as grass. Overall this is a great base for visiting the South lakes or Yorkshire dales. Can't fault it.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike, it's exactly as advertised.
