Liked: Beautiful location, close to A303 but little traffic noise, clean toilet and shower block, plenty of space, two nice (if pricey) pubs about 15 minute walk away in pretty village of Hindon. Well maintained grass. Option of electric hook-up if needed.
Disliked: There was a party of young people over the other side of the field in several large tents who were quite loud with shouting and music until past 1am which wasn’t ideal. Hopefully we were just unlucky and normally the site would be quiet overnight.

Liked: Easy check in with pitch number and lock code given prior to arrival by phone.
Disliked: Standard pop up campsite (a field) with no warden on site and few amenities. Could only spot 1 tap and 1 bin which depending on where you're sited can be a fair walk away. Extra long cable was needed to get to the hook up - lucky we had one. Noise from a nearby camping party was tolerable up to midnight but by 2am our patience had worn thin. Unfortunately the no noise past 10pm rule can only be politely enforced if there is someone on site to enforce it. Couldn't wait to leave.

Liked: Clean site in a field, helpful owner. The loos / showers are ‘posh-portaloos’ but clean and provided plenty of hot water.

Liked: Quietness, country location but short walk to the lovely small town of Pindon. Both pubs had really good food. Facilities on site are better than most.

Liked: We had the whole place to ourselves when we arrived. Got the code for the padlock (easy set up). Simple but great for us. Trailer type showers and toilets. They were clean and excellent hot showers. The owner had just cut the grass in the field. So really nice condition on a sunny day. We might struggle if it was wet. Our camper has lowered suspension and there’s no road. It’s pretty much a field. The owner was really friendly and we were really pleased in general. Thanks.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about

Liked: Beautiful location, grass was well kept. Lots of open space to let the children be free range without imposing on any other campers. Toilet and shower area were very clean. Liked the fact that the gate is always locked, so you know everyone is safe. Lots of beautiful walks in the area and great pubs to get refreshed at. Even got to see some Kites flying over the site.
