Liked: Facilities, pitches, cafe, location are all great. There is a small family fishing area which is free to use. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: This isn’t really a dislike, more of a heads up. The pitches are amongst the fishing lakes with no barriers between. So it you have young kids (we have a toddler) you need to have eyes on all the time. Having said that, we really enjoyed the proximity to the lakes and the kids enjoyed watching people fishing and the wildlife.

Unpowered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked: Helpful, friendly staff. Family run and they work very hard to keep guests happy. Pretty site with pitches close to the fishing lakes. Cafe is excellent. Quiet. Close to llandegla adventure centre for cycling and walking. Excellent Wi-Fi
Disliked: Not really dislikes but wanted to mention - Strange washing up area. No sinks- just taps above boards where you can put your washing up bowl. Owner provided bowl and wash up liquid for us. Bins are a long way from pitches but the owner explained they moved them away as scavengers were attracted to the bins. Neither were a real issue and we’ll certainly be back.
